Ya I can not believe HJ probably will not win a district game this year......i feel so sorry for the seniors for HJ....they had enough talent to be in the top half of the district.

WHY IN THE WORLD IS HJ STARTING A FRESHMAN PITCHER AGAINST BC. HJ has plenty of pitching besides these freshman. Ferguson, Gustafson, and Ricossa are all good pitchers that HJ has that are experienced in high school baseball. I guess HJ can just keep pitching these freshman and go 0-10 in district.

I know Ricossa is playing at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, which is NCAA Division 2 and ive heard from his family that they're ranked in the top 20 in the nation. I believe Rodgers went to Lamar and got red shirted(not sure though) and im not sure about Lundy

HJ lost 6 starters which included these five and Hansen. Not alot of experience on the team but they still have a pretty decent team this year.

Theres nothing yall care more about than the players, Ive always loved how passionate yall are. If anything, players should be moving to HJ to play for this FANTASTIC coaching staff.

Well to get my mind off the loss......when will we know the 21-3a All-District Picks?

Great Season Hawks. I was always worried about the depth of the Hawks and when Ricossa fouled out with about 6 min left in the 4th quarter i got extrememly worried, then they had to play OT without him......it hurt to lose him with that much time left to play. Turnovers and Free throws were also a killer. Great season Hawks!!! Most didnt think you would make it to the Regional Tournament, much less the STATE tournament, nothing to hang your heads about. Great Year!

I believe Garrett Gustafson(sp) and Philip Ricossa are the 2 players that are still in basketball trying to bring home another state championship.

Jacob was a great player and Philip is turning out to be a great player himself....hats of to the Ricossa family they have played a big part in HJ sports, to bad Philip is the last one.
