ABCD14 - I've seen most off the 4a catchers and several 3a and think Jackson from BC and Carnahan are the best in thier respective districts. The problem with my opinion is that catchers playing against lumberton don't get tested, so i am not a fair judge. When we get base runners, which is not very often, we certainly don't try to steal....... : Catcher get to rest their arms when they play us. ???

Carnahan from PNG is the best i've seen.

Vidor by at least 10 after 5 innings! I like Dayton's aggressive style of play but the Pirates have too much offense for the Broncos to keep it close.

I like the Raiders in this one. Their game is coming together just in time for district play. 8) The Raiders played some good ball this past weekend in the BC tournament. They were up on BC after 4 innings and then made some errors that cost them several runs and lost 12-6 against the best team in the area. They gave up 10 runs to Kville in the first and then battled back for a 12-12 tie. Then they beat WOS not making a single error. Bryce DeJohn (2-1) will be on the mound for the Raiders and should pitch well. He's a little banged up but will be ready. We just have to play good defense and get the bats going early. I haven't seen the Bronco's but hope they are not as good as they were in football! GOOD LUCK RAIDERS!!!!

Lumberton 12 Coldsprings 4

Silsbee 4 Lumberton 3 Good pitching dual. Each team managed 5 hits. Raiders made some costly errors early and couldn't overcome those mistakes. Bryce DeJohn pitched 6 inning for the Raiders and had 4 maybe 5 K's. The Silsbee duo looked strong as well.

WOW! Two days in a row the raiders give up a huge inning late in the game. Any idea who pitched for Lumberton? Even though i work in houston I couldn't make the game today.

I saw them play Lumberton last night after the Ned vs Huffman game. They are a decent team but i don't think they can hang with the talent from Nederland. Unless they saved their ace for today's game the bulldogs should hammer them. They hit with some power but our pitching wasn't that effective. With Nederland's bats and good pitching they will probably 10 run rule them. The raiders made a couple of killer errors in the last inning that cost them several runs. I was hoping to see Lumberton play Nederland.

Lumberton 6 Northland Christian 13 (i think) Lumberton was up 6-0 after 3 and then the wheels fell off. Raiders were up 6-5 through 5 1/2 innings when the flood gates opens. Northland Christian scored 8 in their final at bat when time was called. Each team had one long ball a piece. DeJohn hit the one for the Raiders.

If a winning team is the reason then why is Durham (1-9) first team and Moshier 2nd team? 115/game to 155/ game is not that close and a good back HELPS the passing game not hurts it. If we had a running back that had 2400 yards we could have thrown for 2000+ because our opponents would have played man defense and put 8 in the box instead of a two deep zone. Moshier should have had over 2000 yards. And by the way i am not from Lumberton nor do i live their now! Just a fan!

i figured tvc84 was from nederland. DeJohn has all the above except the winning team, as did Durham. Moshier just happened to be the guy handing the ball to Mosley and plays for Neuman.

just curious how you come up with 1800 yards and 25 tds for OF's ramsey? Is that his career or for this year? 2006 based on Bmt Enterprise pass 21/53 253 yds 4 tds rush 121 att 758 yds 15 tds

Moshier made 2nd team all district QB with these stats. This includes playoff games (12 total)! Moshier 92/193 (48%) 11 ints 12 Tds 1379 yards 115/game Where is DeJohn from Lumberton? This is playing 10 games 111/207 (54%) 12 ints 15 tds 1545 yards. 154.5/game Does anybody know how this process works? Does a coach from a school nominate a player(s) by position and then all coaches vote? Or is every player in the district potentially a candidate even if his coach does not nominate him. just curious how the process works.

too funny! your source! what is this watergate? :roll: i agree, he could have played better. so would coach C, your source, the one you played for big when you went to kelly. If the coach thought his son gave the raiders the best chance to win then he would have played him and not #7. They both had good seasons at thier respective positions but not good enough to have a winning season or carry the team to the playoffs. We'll be better next year but will miss a few key seniors! Go Raiders!

How you figure that??? For most of the year DeJohn led the district and finished the year 2nd in passing yards, had a 56 % completion ratio and had 15 touchdowns.

Bryce DeJohn 1426 yards passing and Jeremy Garza with 30 catches and 466 yards. Both are 2nd in 22-4A until tonight when DeJohn and Garza have career nights against the Nederland defense.

I hunt in the Roganville area and saw 9 does saturday and one on sunday. Didn't see any bucks. We had one decent 8 killed and 4 cull bucks.

Bryce DeJohn will be a good addition to the pitching staff. He could have pitched on varsity last year but the coach didn't like that he played soccer.

Incorrect GODogs27! It would depend on what other team finishes 3-4. Vidor, Lumberton, Ozen and LCM have the potential of finishing 3-4. Ned needs Vidor out and PNG needs LCM out.

Lumberton will be in this game and WILL NOT get shut out! Nobody has shut them out this year. It will be much closer than what is being predicted. Raiders by 7!

PNG still has a chance even if they lose both games as long as Nederland loses both.
