I saw Jasper scrimage PNG and they loked prety dang good. They manhandled PNG. Whoever plays the Bulldogs had better strap it up!!!

I've seen a lot of those highly ranked Florida teams play on my FoxSport package, SLC will win that game because they will be more disciplined. Those Florida teams have great athletes but they have too many penalties, of the 15 yard variety, and that will cost them against SLC.

I was at the Lee/Ball scrimmage and there were three fights that resulted in the scrimmage being halted. Lee didn't look good at All on defense. They couldn't stop the run or the pass. On offense, if that QB(6) gets hurt they are done. They only ran the ball when he scrambeld.

Central won overall 7-4. Central outscored Memorial 6-2 in the controlled part of the scrimage. They played a half with a running clock and Memorial had a 2-1 advantage. Memorial scored on two screens. Charlie thomas did have an eighty run TD run. Derrick Hall got started when he was put at QB.

Derrick Hall RB, Charles Thomas RB,WR, plus three starterson the O line. We will have about 7 or 8 starters back on defense. Central will be force to reckon with again next year.

As bad as we were up front last year on defense, most of what that kid did last year was on one run (60 yards)that fullback was the killer last year. I did forget to mention that WOS still won by 3 TDs. They have most of their kids back and so do we, they're playing better and so are we. I just don't see where they've made up 21 points. If they have'nt got A LOT faster on defense they will not be able handle WOS' speed on offense.

I've heard from some people that if you put some good sticks on the Giddings runners they'll cough it up. If that's true, that doesn't bode well for them. Whover wins the turnover battle wins the game.

Last year going in to that game WOS hadn't seen that offense all year. They have played two teams this that run that style of offense, Silsbee and Kirbyville, granted the competition will be stepped up, but at leat they have seen the veer and that should help them this year. If they can limit Fitzhenry to a minimum of big plays they should be alright.

Last year's game was pretty much WOS scoring pretty easily on the Giddings defense. Giddings had one long drive (17 plays, 90 yards), one long rung run by Fitzhenry (60 yards) and a cheap TD at the end when it was 42-14. Giddings in no way could handle the speed of WOS in that game. I don't know what they have improved on that much other than the QB is now a junior. WOS seems to be a lot better on defense than last year. I know they are faster on offense. I believe Koop is right about Giddings being too one demintional. If WOS doesn't turn the ball over they should win the game. I'll say WOS wins 42-21 same as last year.

First of all, nobody ate B. Williams for lunch. He was there leading the team at the end like I knew he would. Dayton made a great play on the kick. The team that made the least mistakes won. Now if Dayton could just figure out how to beat lowly 3A WOS they might be something.

Nobody at Central is overlooking Vidor. We just plan to go there and take care of buisness and then get ready to take care of Dayton. Dayon, you guys are thinking pretty highly of yourselves right now, and you should you've well in district so far. However, you guys better not overlook LCM because they're playing pretty well right now, too. Both teams need to take care of buisness this week and then the title will be on the line next week.

Its the sme QB as last year. He had 1 big run for TD last year and that was about it. They will be very familiar Fitzhenry.

I think they go at least as far as last year. Giddigs is not the team to worry about, that would be Wimberly.That's who they will probably play in a semi-final game. WOS handled Giddings last yearm handily, as Giddiing s couldn't deal with the speed of WOS's offense. I think if WOS would get another shot at Wimberly and win, that would be a major mental hurdle to clear. I think then they would play Cureo in the D-2 title game.

If you guys have three turnovers next week, it will be a WOS blowout. If it rains all this week like it is supposed too, you keep it close. WOS 28 Silbee 7.

Winner of the Lumberton-LCM game. After seeing both teams play I'll give slight nod to the Bears. They're more physical. The Mid-County teams will have listen to the playoffs on the radio or buy a ticket to a game this year.

Hey Pimp, ask Nederland if Brandon is the real deal. You guys on this board don't pay attention to details. Central hasn't played a good game yet at home, yet we play lights out on the road. This week we play at Vidor and that spells trouble for the Pirates. Central 45-14.

Coach Hooks told me a long time ago, he'd do Spring practice because he'd have 18 days of spring practice and only have give up 5 days in the hottest part of August.

You have to rank Hooks and Barbay the top two . I'm going to go woth Stowers as #3, right now. He turned Central from 1-9 to district champs in one year, and the frontrunner this year. No slight to Dayton, but Central is the defending disrtict champs and if you knock them off, then you'll be the frontrunners. I know he has athletes, but so did the guy before him and he could'nt get it done. After Stowers, I'd put Neuman. He's been very consistant for a dozen or so years a Nederland.

First of all, the Dayton guy is on some sort of drugs. WOS is not that good? What does that say about Dayton when they beat Dayton. If you think Central's not that good, you haven't seen them play. They have beaten a pretty good 5A Baytown Lee team, lost to West Brook by three in a game they should've won, and hung 63 on Nederland at their place. No, they're not that good. I'd say the top 4 are about right. Nederland should not be in the top ten. They can not play defense at all. this has to be Neuman's worst team since he's been there. No speed and not as big as usual. I don't understand how you put PNG above LCM either. When you beat somebody 42-0 you're better than them. If you don't think LCM is not that good then you'll have adjust your feeling about PNG. No way the Indians should be above LCM. As far as 4A goes its Central, Dayton and everybody ellse.
