HJ beat LCM by 19 I believe. But HJ plays kingwood tonight in the final.

Silsbee will beat HJ by twenty-five this year. HJ will lose in the first round of the playoffs, HJ won't present Silsbee with any type of challenge.

As far as HJ's "weak" schedule is concerned, they know that they are moreover playing against themselves. I.M.O., that's all basketball is. Can you be more sound than your opponent? HJ has been extremely sound this year, and never settles. Even with the twenty point win over LCM tuesday, they were not satisfied. Against Silsbee, they will not be satisfied with a win, rather satisfied with playing the best they can play, regardless of the score. HJ will never be satisfied until they have gold medals hanging around their necks in Austin. So, as for who they play? HJ doesn't really care, they respect all opponents, and all they care about is being the best they can be.

He's good. No doubt. But he's not at Shawn's level. Not many of those Nederland players can play inside. Shawn will post you up if you're not careful.

Shawn is the best basketball player in the area at the High School level. He is extremely athletic! He's quick, he can handle the ball, he can shoot the ball, he can take it to the cup, and what most people don't realize is that he is extremely strong. They think just because he isn't a body builder, he's not strong. But, I have yet to see anyone stop him from getting a rebound. He will block you out and then go up and grab the ball before you've even tried to go around him. When you find another player who's attributes allow him to play on a level that Prudhomme plays on, then I will change my thoughts. But until then, it's hands down Shawn Prudhomme.

Something like that. They spent lots of time together in the hotel from hanging out in the lobby, to playing video games in the hotel room. Just little things that allow high school kids to get to know each other a little better.

I hope I'm not violating any rules, but I am answering a question from earlier. HJ could have played in a tournament that gave them more competition and they know it. But HJ's players go to this tournament to mesh not just on the court, but off. They were there for four nights and spent a lot of time together. If you can learn how to mesh off the court, the togetherness comes together much easier on the court. The players from HJ are all very close because of this tournament every year. And, with that being said, the teams i this tournament weren't totally terrible. Look at the score of the HJ-Nederland game compared to the HJ-Calhoun game. Nederland was in the YMBL tournament and went to the finals. HJ could have won either tournament, but in Aransas Pass, they get to spend more time together. Now, I could be wrong, but I think HJ made a great scheduling choice, and played very well in the tournament. Best of the Bay Champions 2011!!!!!!!!!!

The live broadcast will be for most of the home games. It's HJ student doing a without a doubt biased commentary of the game. Some of the students have basketball knowledge, others don't. It's really just for fun and allows parents to watch their kids.
