BC,BUNA,Silsbee.  One of the easier nights to pick.  However anything could happen.

Good game and practice for both teams heading into the playoffs.

Ball or no ball doesn't matter the defensive player is not in the baseline and the runner is running into him.  End of story.

Glad the cubs have got it turned around.  I always enjoy watching them in the playoffs.  I am not from Brenham but when they play in the houston area I can see them play.

Both good teams with good coaches.  I will say Buna since I think they are at home for their game.

Buna has stepped into the 3a district well.  Good job players and coaches

MOFO If he is brought into the base line and it is a bang bang play he does not have to slide he doesnt have time.  However in the picture above the runner does not appear to be in the baseline.  He is inside the bag.  If a first baseman caught a ball in the baseline before the runner gets there and the runner tried to knock the ball out is he still safe?  NO!!!!!    If a first baseman is attempting to catch the ball on the inside of the bag and the runner runs inside to try to get in the way of the throw is he safe?  NO!!!! 

With the way the weather has been I am sure that most area under level kids have not seen a lot of practice time.  Also the kids that were the best in the past are not always still the best players.  Kids mature and some work harder than others and pass them up.

Any word on when and where the cubs are playing this week?

I played at LCM the time of the three guys mentioned and all three were good players but what does being able to play have to do with being a great coach there are alot of guys who know how the game should be played that could not  physically do it.

I think the tigers finally pull one out in the end im saying 5-3

HJ and silsibee are down but not BC they have beat alot of very tough opponents and have been ranked top 10 in the state all year and OF and HF are stronger this year than the last few so the district is about the same just a little change of power it seems

The Leger kid from LCM is really good

on the foul ball call half of the HF team came out of the dugout and was cussing at the umpire then the ejection happend after the kid struck out it was one of the worst things I have seen on a highschool field in a long time Hf was out of control

I kept a book at the game and had LCM with 6 errors and WOS with 0 hits most of what I have seen has LCM with 5 errors so im guessing one I thought was an error the official book did not think it was Gabe if you find out who got the hit I would appreciate it.

I was at the game and I dont think WOS had a hit in the game can anyone think of a hit that they got?
