OK LOOK!!!!!! All this got started two weeks ago with the Silsbee clan talking crap about how it was a SCRIMMAGE and that it didn't really matter. That talk just kinda pissed me off a little since I'm a PARENT that wants the best for his child playing on this team. I don't remember reading one thing about we're going undefeated and gonna win state. I did read though that moral was up BIG TIME for not just the team, but the whole community. Why the smack talk keeps going is because people like piratefan keep egging it on and talking crap about us. Why try raining on our parade? Let us enjoy a little success while it last. To the players and fans of Lumberton, I apoligize if I offended anyone with my response to defending the RAIDER NATION!!!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL SCHOOLS THIS YEAR!!!!!!

Booker T was teaming with his brother as Harlem Heat and Austin was "Stunning" Steve Austin. Also, current NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett wrestled there. Anyone remember the ol' Mid-South Wrestling??

I believe that we all agree that there is plenty of fan support for all the local school in southeast texas. I feel the best support is at WO-S, PNG, Nederland, Bridge City and this year Lumberton. I feel though that the real support is shown when it is a far away out of town game. Last week, the Lumberton vs. New Caney game, there were hardly any fans on the NC side. Now had Lumberton, WO-S, PNG, etc. had gone to New Caney, any of these schools would probably have had the same fan support as at home. GOOD LUCK TO ALL SCHOOLS THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!

Honestly, even though that this group of players has played together since they were "eating glue in pre-k" as someone said, varsity is alot harder than jv and lower. The stats look good on paper, but that is why they still play the game. I see this team going 4-6 or 5-5. As far as all the doubters from the other schools talking trash on us, I say this to them. If you're team has been the whipping boy of the whole area and then you had something to cheer about, you would probably go a little overboard with it too. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THIS YEAR!!!!!!!! Lumberton - 28 Bridge City - 21 Should be a great game with tons of fan support on both sides of the stadium!!!!!

The past is always the past. What gets me is that these boys are proud of what they have going for them and then there are clowns like you that have nothing better to do than down teams that already have done more in one game than all of last year ( one win to none last year and almost more points than all of last year ). How about you and the Silsbee clan give a rest and worry about other things like your opponents and we'll worry about us. I still hope that all the doubters are eating CROW at the end of the year. But I bet that's a everyday dish in Vidor so that would be the norm. Also, HOOKED ON PHONICS will help your spelling problem piratefan :evil:

What is really comical is the fact that the Silsbee groupies are still sore about losing to us. Come on now, ya'll really need to worry about having it handed to you by WO-S!!!!!!! Besides, it don't matter if the first string or the band and cheerleaders are in, a win is a win. All you Silsbee folks need to show class and stop smack talking about a SCRIMMAGE!!!!!!! Sounds like piratefan maybe worried that Lumberton may just beat his team of backwoods boys from Vidor ( if that's where you're from ). Guess he's worried they will end up 1-9 for the season instead of 2-8. Show some class yourself and stop bumping your gums!!!!!!! :evil:

It's amazing how Lumberton already has a 0-10 record as said by some. How about letting us have a little confidence that we might do better than the 0-8 from last year. JV whipped tail and went 8-0 and beat everyone pretty good. Like I said earlier, I hope that all doubters are eating CROW and the end of the year. Maybe we can serve CHAMPION the first serving!!!!! :evil:

Silsbee needs to stop making excuses about losing to Lumberton and worry more about their upcoming schedule. Wonder what your reasons for losing will be when WO-S and Jasper bowl you over. Besides, how much bashing did Lumberton do to you a couple of years ago when you were 0-10? HMMMMMMMM

Lumberton finally seems to be heading in the right direction. They have a coach that is a proven winner and cares about his boys. The community is showing more support than ever before. Moral and confidence is in the air in the city of Lumberton!!!!!! To all the individuals and teams in southeast texas 4A district, trash talk and overlooking the Lumberton Raiders may result in you having to eat a rare dish not normally seen on a menu........... CROW!!!! GO LUMBERTON RAIDERS!!!!!!!
