Call me crazy, but i think Quan and Quincy Crosby could have played at any 5A school in the state. As well as John Garrett who played at Baylor. Most of those Mart kids arent from Waco. They have lived in Mart their whole life.

EC better buckle those chin straps. This will be the best team they have faced. Mart has speed, speed and more speed. Plus they played a heck of a schedule. Dont know what the score will be, but i think Mart has too much for the Bucs.

What a shame. Just 3 years ago WH was in the 2A playoffs being somewhat competitive with the eventuall state champion Garrison. Two years ago they made the 2A playoffs in one of the tougher districts around and lots of these seniors contributed to that team. NOW, they get their butts handed to them for 3 quarters by a 3-7 1A team. What has happened? I am not placing blame on coaches, kids, whoever. I am just really suprised to see them take this quick an exit with the talent they have for a 1A school. I will say the fact that High Island cancelled on them last week didnt help.

What????????????????????????? Thats bush league. What was their reason for cancelling? How do you cancel a game, much less a district game. Not fair to the West Hardin kids. Unless HI is down to 10 players, UIL needs to take action to prevent this from happening again in the future.

A lot of things would have to happen for SP to start winning district championships. First and foremost would be for WH and HD to move out of their district. Until that happens, SP will be fighting for 3rd at best.

Well, since there is only 1 high school in PA, that means only one basketball coach is making that salary, and i doubt you or i know exactly what he is making. But it sounds that you are implying that coaches make a lot of money. I beg to differ. Sure, football AD's and basketball coaches at large 5A schools make a good living, but not everybody coaches at large 5A schools.

I thought it was a wasted hour of my life. Too unrealistic. I mean the back up QB looked like a girl throwing the ball, but somehow manages to comeback and win down by 10 with less than a minute on a hail mary pass with no defense deep????? Too much Varsity Blues mixed in as well(QB gets hurt, hot girl hitting on QB, etc.). Cheeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssyyyyyyyyy.

You may be right, but I know a lot of people were expecting big things from them with the drop to 1A. They will still make the playoffs in that weak district, but it looks like it will be a very short playoff run. Thats a shame, cause they have some kids that can really play. I dont know what has happened there.
