U made a highlight video facing 2 of the sorriest teams in SETX. Let me stand up and applaude. hmm our junior powder puff team could make a highlight video against them. Ha. Yall have any highlights against EC? hmmm  ;D
Actually, they have posted highlights from every game this year EXCEPT the ones they lost, for obvious reasons!!  Thanks for getting on here and bashing other teams/kids for their hard work though - I am sure Kountze and Warren love to read comments like that about themselves!!
No doubt and what's all this negativity towards Anahuac.  We practically did everything but giftwrap that game against EC, so please get over it and move on.  People are allowed to post videos on here, and for those who are unable to make it to games, this gives them a chance to view their friends or family memebers performances on the field.  8) No need to make a post, if you don't like the video then move on buckaroo!

I think neither team wants to come out flat in the playoffs so they are going to have it next week in order to prevent that. They would probally rather come out flat against one another than in the playoffs. I could be wrong though just my take on it.
I think you may have a good point.  Look at Anahuac.  First game of the year (coming off of a long break), they lost.  Against EC, coming off of a bye, they lost.  So, the coaches are smart for eliminating the bye week prior to the playoffs so they have some momentum going in.  I am not sure how bye's have affected Buna but I am almost certain they don't want a week off before they play Newton.  Now let's look at the warmup perspective.  Buna and Anahuac both run offenses similar to Kirbyville and Newton, so I think it is smart that the coaches are using this as a warmup/tune up before playing these two teams in the playoffs.  Both Anahuac and Buna are underdogs in the playoffs but this may help.  We shall see!!
Precisely...+1 for you!
 3. Just found out that the game won't be played this Thursday, but next Thurs. 11/12.  This will allow both teams to take the week off now and not have a week off for the bye in bi-district!

Deer season starts Saturday morning and those country boys want to get a head start on getting to the deer lease early Friday.
Yep.
LOL...no doubt!
 5. But, if I had to guess...I'd say both teams want an opportunity to scout playoff contenders, eh?
 6. Kickoff to be @ 6:30pm in Anahuac.  For those who want to know why - that I do not know yet myself!
 7.
looks like Kirbyville vs Corrigan d1 - winner plays Anahuac Newton VS Buffalo - winner plays Buna Woodville VS New Waverly - winner plays EC
I sure hate having the bye in bi-district - I know coaches want to keep players healthy, but a warm-up game would be beneficial, just saying!
 8. Should be a great game and good luck to both teams! Newton -- 34 Kirbyville -- 30
 9.
Rushing - They listed Jacoby Carrington -EC twice.
That's the Houston Chronicle for you!

 11. Panthers -- 31 Cougars -- 12
 12. Nice job Panthers and congratz on making the playoffs!
 13. This seems okay with me...however, going westward (ie: Hitchcock, Halletsville, Rice Cons., etc) would be sort of nice ya know - chance to play different schools, change the scenery.  Especially since we are the red-headed stepchild of the golden triangle!  In this format, maybe the playoff games will be closer drives than district and non-district games!  ;)

 16.
doubt it.
Barbay vs. Barbay - things could get interesting next season if this happens.  Whoever wins this district would be battle-tested for sure.
 17.
Makes for an interesting district though.... This one looks pretty good... District 11 Anahuac Buna Hardin Kirbyville Kountze Newton East Chambers
No doubt...next season I'd say this would be the toughest district in 2A....DI or DII!
 18.
If the Warriors can force some turnovers, this game could be closer than expected.  If they don't, [glow=red,2,300]it could get ugly[/glow].  My prediction: Anahuac 28 Warren 14
I'm leaning closer to the highlighted portion of your comment since the Warriors lost to Ktz by 20 and the Panthers just beat Ktz by almost 40!!!!  But, anything can happen - right?

 20.
Final?
Yes, I think the score was 54-15
 21. I left at the half, it was 48-6.
 22. I'm still around, just figured I'd keep quiet for a little while Well I think this week you can talk a little but just remember last week... I'm not saying anything until our offense shows up, or at least wakes up!
