being from Lumberton I hope your right but we have been growing since the mid 90s and the highschools number have never been over 1100. for things to get better the school board and the administration would have to get fully behind the program like PNG, Nederland, WOS, Silsbee etc etc etc

PNG1992 I respect ur post most of the time but you just went crazy for a second. Im from Lumberton and I know its not a top flight job. Pays less than anyone in the area. Your coaches are also lowest payed so you are always losing or potentially losing coaches. Facility's are horrible and the school board and administration are not helping you out. Lumberton is still one of the smallest 4As in the state. Last time they turned in 1064 and the talent is just not very good to be honest. PNG should be on the list but probably around #5. Dayton should be #1 because the pay is excellent for coach and staff. They have very nice facility's and the Superintendent is fully behind the program. Dayton is loaded with players every year and play in a District that will keep them fully stocked with District Titles for years to come. Oh and Football has no equal in that school West Brook should be 2. I know BISD pays well and West Brook is getting just about any kid they want in Beaumont so they are loaded with Talent year in and year out. Facilitys arent all that so thats why I put Dayton ahead of them. West Orange Stark. They havent lost a district game since moving down to 3A. not sure on pay but the fact that they hold on to most of their coaches means that they most likely pay well. Talent out of the wazoo. Why the heck havent yall done more in the playoffs is the big question but I know that its a great place to coach. Facilitys arent bad ethier Nederland. From the coaches I know there they say they love it. They get the facility s they want and they pay very well. Its just a matter of time before they get turf. Talent wise they arent always the most talented but the kids there think they are suppose to win most of the time so that always helps. and they are a bigger 4A so they have alot of kids to pick from PNG. PNG is a very good paying place. They used to say that their was never a job opening there because people never left. They're facilitys are fantastic too. They have a good number of kids just like nederland so they have alot of kids to pick from. Talent wise they are like Nederland. Problem with the place is the fans are unrealalistic but hey they dont know football so if you can stay away from the msg boards as a coach then your ok.

Darin Smith was good but doesnt belong on that list. Paul Thomas was a DE in hs and college and shouldnt be on the list

David Dixon from Central played LB in college but in highschool was a RB and DE.

Griffin was a freshman last year

Hanna didnt start but he did get a few carries. had 9 for 90 and didnt play defense and most of the starters were out by mid way threw the 2nd qtr. But I didnt post the stats and never said they were right.

Lumberton played their backups for 3 quarters against LCM. Ozensfinest just hates everyone from Lumberton so dont let him get you all wound up

Navy does not run the spread

You can do it both ways but you have to be able to throw the ball alittle even if you are a run first teams. Jasper, WOS, West Brook are all run first spread teams.

Lumberton has Mac Lee, Lee Pace, Tyler Cowart and Bryan Abbo that I know of. Kyle Gillam is going to play football for Army (Westpoint)

what was Treys district meet times? because Kylier Keith won the 200 and was tied for 2nd in the 100 in 20-4A.

Cody Green was in our District for a year so I would consider him and hes #1.

Hathaway doesnt belong on that list. If it was an off the bus first list then all the way and I think Jacob Hanna should be there somewhere because the guy carried the team into the playoffs. 1) Charles 2) Micheal 3) Mosely 4) Hussey 5) Franks 6) Garrett 7) Hanna 8) Feacher 9) Smith 10) McQueen If you did research then the list would go all over the place because as I typed I remebered people and I'm sure I forgot people.

Brandon Williams was a stud but not better than Green. There are reports that Green worked out at UTs camp at WR as a Soph and was the best looking prospect at WR at any age group. Then last season he leads Dayton to a state title game.

Tony Eckert probably. threw for over 3000 yards and 20 TDs in 9 games. Played 2 years at Tyler Junior College and then went to SMU where he was a part time starter

Lumberton won 12-0. sophmore Corbin Bell with the win and a no hitter. Corbin is currently 6-2

Kylier Kieth of Lumberton won the 200 meters and 3rd in the 100m. Crystal Brindle came in 2nd in the mile. Hunter Bradshaw came in 3rd in the mile.

get a sub to orangebloods. that information I put down is from Mushchamp. I have nothing against the kid but all the practice reports raved about Okafor and talked about how far ahead he was. The guy is gonna be a true freshman and is a freak. They talked about him being in the 2deep by the time the season starts next year. Johnson getting moved to TE doesnt lend itself to the coaches thinking he will contribute alot. Plus with Eddie Jones is coming back from injury and they have already said that he will be in the rotation.

Stewart has already commented in several interviews that they are going to a more pro styled attack.

no hes not Kindles back up. right now its Kindle and Acho then Eddie Jones and Russell Carter/ Alex Okafor (true freshman STUD) they have also experimented with Emmaunl Acho and Jared Norton being used like Sergio Kindle was last year. Eddie Jones sat out the spring thats why he wasnt there. They are looking at moving Johnson and another end to TE next season to help with depth there.

my cousin goes to aTm and his brother will probably go too so I'm sympathetic but I have never been a fan of theres and right now it looks like they are gonna be worse than baylor until Briles leaves there.
