The kid is a very hard worker and smart player. Only worry is how the line comes together and not having a dominate running back like the last 2 years.

thats great new about Grillo. last time I talked to him he said he couldnt play anymore. that was last spring though.

The MVP isnt about the district championship its about the Most Valuable Player in the district. Or best individual player.

the indoor facility is a great tool. you cannot practice when its lighting outside no matter how bad you want too.

thats funny because Kylier Keith won the 200 and tied for 2nd in the 100 and he has 4.5 speed. LCM must not have these animals coming out for track or else they would be dominating the district. Philip Richard did run track and was 8th in the 200 his senior year.

raideroldtimer you need to go drive around the area and check some other places out and talk to some coaches. Everyone knows Lumbertons facilitys are a joke. go check out Vidor. its much nicer. new gym, new baseball stadium, new field house, and redoing the football field. Oh and 1979 is the seventies.

Aggie is right that we arent the worst in the area. we are much nicer than Buna but in 20 4A Lumberton has horrible facility's. And Lumberton pays its teachers very poorly and your gonna see Coaches leaving eventually for greener pastors. I have 2 friends at silsbee, 1 at Hardin, 3 at Barbers Hill, 1 in houston, 4 more at Orange area schools and all would have to take pay cuts to come to Lumberton. My friend in Barbers Hill actually looked at a job here and it would be a 15 thousand dollar pay cut.

I know you love Lumberton an all but you need to pull your head out of the sand and see whats going on. We have 2A level facilitys no matter what you say.

raider old timer you live in a bubble my friend. I have seen everyone in the district and just about everyone in the areas facility's and we are last in the district in facility's I promise you that. Vidor's field and fieldhouse is much nicer than ours. Our field house was built in the 70's and im not lieing. AJ all the upgrades are coats of paint and the carpet being taken out and putting in tile. The weight room isnt bad ill give you that. the baseball stadium needs to be overhauled. It was built in the early 80s. Parts of the basketball stadium are being condemed. Our athletic budget is the lowest in the district. It was posted in the beaumont enterprise 2 years ago and it hasnt gotten any better.

lol well you know how that bond was. 6 mill for an auditorium and 30 thousand for athletics. I would consider that a FAIL. actually it was ZERO for athletics until Coach Creadur said something. I dont know what we could have done with 30 thousand.... I think build a office for our secratary. I think Lumberton people should just picket outside central office ;D

Babin is responsible for alot of the offense you saw the last 2 years and alot of what your gonna see this year. Very good football mind and gonna do great things. He used to wanna get closer to austin but this move was him wanting to be a head coach.

Chase McDonald isnt the kid your thinking of. Rocky's son might get some time at FB and DE and AJ is right. The players (like AJ) and coaches have put in alot of work. the football team has not gotten any facility upgrades thanks to the fans. currently Lumberton has the worst facilitys in the area. Start making some donations like the good people in silsbee or mid county and then you can start "deserving" something. Right now the players and coaches deserve to win and they deserve your support.

Lumberton was Tony Eckert. the key word is PASSING for the poster who said Luttrull. Luttrull was a great runner but wasnt a passer. he will even tell you that.

Eckert went on to start at Tyler Jr College for 2 years and was all conference as a sophmore and then went to SMU where he played on and off for 2 years.

I dont think thats an upset.

I highly recommend this organization. its very well run.
