out of hiding? Ive never came on here and made a prediction about the game but I will come on here to defend a kid. I dont know how old yall are but these kids read the boards and to single a kid out is wrong.

I give it to Vidor for playing much better in the second half. Congrats on the victory but Ive said it in other threads that they have a shot at getting in the playoffs. I still think Northshore will beat yall by a 100

Hanna plays with alot of emotion and anybody on here who has played football has made a mistake or said something that isnt so nice to someone from the other team. I know Vidor isnt angels and neither is Lumberton. Hanna also missed most of the 2nd qtr throwing up on the sideline and he looked somewhat drained in the second half so Im sure he was frustrated.

I dont think 20-4A is one of the toughest districts in the state right now. I think that will go to one of the Dallas districts. Last year the one with Stephenville and Everman was sick and now it added Mansfield Tiberview who was a 5A playoff team last year and has one of the best RBs in the state (Eric Stephans). What 20-4A has is alot of quality teams and the district is very undecided. I would say PNG, Lumberton, Central, Nederland, Vidor all have a shot at the playoffs. No one can say they are a clear cut favorite right now.

I think North Shore would beat yall by a hundred.

They dont cut people in Juco unless your on the walk on program. Worst case he will get redshirted

Souja last year the score was 33-14 yall scored on 2 trick plays and didnt move the ball well at all. The year before when yall were very good yall beat us 22-14 and we were driving but our WR droped a ball that would have been a first down and would have extended the drive. The season before that when we were horrible yall we were winning 7-0 at halftime and ended up winning 27-7 I think. The season before that yall scored on the last drive to win the game.

You can say yall dominated us because you have a good record against us but every game was close and if you keep living in the past then the future is gonna pass you by. This isnt the same Lumberton teams you used to play. I respect you as a poster and I understand you going with your team. But dont start acting like the people who make foolish claims. And yes thats alot of Lumberton fan but everybody has them.

That guys a good coach, plus that school has 2300 kids right now.

Livingstons QBs went 2-14 for -7 yards. most of their skills guys from last year are still on the team. they returned 10 starters

Vidors wins came against an 0-3 kelly who lost to Hitchcock 2A and St Thomas who looked like a JV team and i was there 12-10 at halftime and still only ended 26-10. I saw that game and Vidor struggled through much of the game to stop them.

And all the people who predicted LCM to make the playoffs were very mistaken. Also if u read my post I said alot of people predicted them to make the playoffs. But you going Neutral was probably a good Idea since you run the site

Buc you do realize Lumberton pays teachers the least of everyone in the district right? actually most schools in the area pay more than Lumberton. Also the athletic budget at Lumberton is less than anyone in the district. PNG and Nederland's budget is more than double Lumbertons. atleast last year it was. The field house was built in the 1970s........... should I go on?

only time I saw Coop make a prediction was last year before the season. He said LCM would make the playoffs. He wasnt the only one but I think he decided to act more like Switzerland after that.

There is another 3A lineman from Gilmer who is a backup at UT right now as a true freshman last name is Snow. I would guess this guy is better too.

Kids mess up alot. I cant believe you said they are only doing what they are told. You know how often kids dont blitz when they are suppose too? Or they run the wrong coverage or bust a coverage? Early in the season it happens alot. I dont know what you do for a living but get some kids who are 15-18 to do your job and you have to stand about 30 yards away from them with about 10,000 people screaming behind you. Do you think they might mess up? Have you ever had a conversation with a kid in that age range? Do they seem real focused? How about 40 or 50 kids? And dont say you were the greatest little league coach since Vince Lombardi. Plus Gilmer has more talent than Jasper does and Kirbyville is around the same talent range plus its a rivarly game so that changes things. Nac has around 1800 kids maybe more and they have some talent too.

Hooks hasnt called plays in years. I know some of the coaches over there. Brooks and the other Jasper Coaches are fine. But if you have such a problem with them then go get certified and show them whos boss.

They ran it a few times last year. Different schools call it different things. I was at a place and the coach called it the Duck formation and we would run quick screens, quick passes and a few runs but we were a no huddle team  so it was ment to confuse the other team.

aTm wont be trampling anyone for awhile. Their talent pool is very shallow right now and the recruiting is not doing well.

if you know anything about the history of football in SETX then you know Livingston is not Dayton.
