[/quote] The difference between 4A and 2A speed is not in one person but overall team speed. Beating vidor will take more than speed on defense, it will take playing soild, sound, and assignment defense. Last year vidor gave central (the fastest team in the area) fits for most of the night. But with all that said, kville wins a close one because vidor [b]runs[/b] out of time.

Top 4 as of right now 1st Central (the most hungry) 2nd PNG (if the offense is as good as last year easily moves to number one) 3rd Nederland (Could easily be top 2 depending on their QB) 4th LCM (second most improved team last season and continued to get better as the season went on) But i wouldn't sleep on Ozen, i have a feeling that giant may come back to life this season. And if that happens, it is really going to be fun and exciting this fall in 20-4A once again. ;D

Ozen's senior RB got hurt at the start of last year, so the jr backup and a freshman split time in the backfield for most of the year last year.

this doesn't matter right now (April), this will matter when Nederland hits district play (Sept). Nederland will explore all options before making a soild decision. Nederland will be tough no matter who is taking snaps.

LCM will be in the hunt just like everyone else in 20-4A. PNG and Central was the only two teams that was in for sure at the start of week 10, everyone else was competing for the 3rd and 4th spot. And more than likely that is how it will be next year, but in 20-4A anything could happen.

I agree, but speed is the only thing that can not be coached up and i know coach washington will and is coaching his them right know during the offseason to be more discipline. But as lone as Central has the speed that it has they will always have an advantage on most teams they face not only in 20-4a but the state.

1st Place 3 way tie: Nederland if Forney is the QB and they protect him. Central SPEED, SPEED, SPEED. PNG Do not see repeat of last year's performance but still very good 4th Place 2 way tie: LCM will be better/ Ozen will be better and both may special a few poeple. 5th - 8th any order

Ozen's Leroy Jackson was newcomer of the year in 20-4A as a freshman this year. Look out for next year

i haven't been able to make a JV game yet and tonight is no different, have to work so i can have friday evenings off to go and watch the varsity. but i've heard some good thing about the JV and hope they do well tonight.

Ozen has always showed class... Don't know why people are saying that... They showed something at Lumberton last year and I can assure you it wasn't class. Hopefully the new head coach has changed some of that. i was also at the game last and saw no disrespectful gestures, no ejections or late hits; i have no clue of what u are suggesting. but coach nelson is doing a great job with maintaining and improving ozen classiness and style, if he can get the players to start to minimize the miscues they would be a powerhouse again but that another issue.

why is it people keep asking if ozen's players, coaches and fans will be classy and not vidor's players, coaches and fans. ozen is not the the one with a shady history behind them, nor have ozen displayed behavior to warrant this questions. really do think these comments are bias.

Hey why so harsh.. B/C the Panther JV must have took that shovin a lil personal b/c they stuffed it down the Doggy Chute.... Bull Dogg JV scored with less than 2 minutes to go in the fourth and they were down 24-2.. wow JV handle Nederland's JV like that, man i would have loved to see that, well i guess i'll get to see it tonight at 7:30.
