Probably the Supt. He should have a huge hand in this hire also. Between the two of them, they should have already made the decision.

I have heard the same thing. Not a very good job with this hire at all. You can't treat people like they have and expect for those people to still be interested in the job.

You're telling me they are bringing in all three people for the school board meeting? This has been a fiasco hiring. It keeps getting pushed back and what they told the applicants and what has actually happened are completely different.

Gonzales is a 3A just like Jasper. Some of the reason not to hire someone in their own backyard is that they want a total change in style. Not just football but overall the way things are done.

I agree. Brooks is a level headed person from what I know. I am just suprised nobody knows anything yet. Especially after the board meeting last night.

I heard they were looking at McAngus from Justin Northwest. If that is the case , you can kiss the other sports programs goodbye. Especially baseball. He couldn't get along with the baseball coaches there. He is not going to want to teach and they can't offer him the money he gets in Justin.

It said in the article that 2 are from Dallas area, 1 from San Antonio area, and 1 from Houston area. They want to hire by the end of next week.
