Calls went BH's way the entire night.........sure!!!!!!! That is why BH's PG fouled out and several of their players had 4 fouls as well. If memory serves me correct all of Central's starters were on the court when #2 drove by all 5 of them... I'm through with this subject as well........I have to get ready and plan my weekend. Might go catch Dayton on Friday in Pasadena and go on down to LaPorte on Saturday. Dicky V... tell your brother to deflate the balls, they will last longer in the off-season
-
Dickie, YOUR NOT A CENTRAL SUPPORTER, come on, your brother is the coach for heaven's sake. You have made that statement on this message board. I agree the calls were bad in the end. #2 for BH was hammered 2-3 times in the span of 2:00 going to the basket and nothing was called. Bad officiating........BH was lucky to win with how bad the calls were. In reality it was IMO a good called game. Both sides received the benefit of some questionable calls, but they evened out. I think the outcome was determined by Central not having a good solid plan to stop BH . Again, how do you run a triangle and 2 defense and leave #2 Ybarra one of the 3 un-guarded players. Poor planning, scouting, etc......if you ask me.. PRICE OF A GAME UNIFORM ----- $100 PRICE OF A GAME BALL --------- $75 PRICE OF A MEAL FOR TWO----- $50 COST OF A TICKET ------------ $5 #2 YBARRA DRIVING TO THE BASKET---------- PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coop , if you lock this I understand, but some people on here refuse to accept reality.

I still cannot see why Central supporters think they got the raw end of the officiating. I think both teams shot the same amount of FT'S in the game. Also, end the end BH lost their starting PG to fouls and #2 was hammered numerous times in the end and nothing was called. I thought the game was called evenly with a few calls going against each team. Of course , when you are used to getting to man-handle opponents by your home officiating chapter , then geting legit fouls called on you is tough. I think Central is a very talented team and plays the game hard. I guess it was BH night. Best game I have witnessed in many, many , years. Lee College is a great place to watch basketball. I had a great seat at mid-court . Boy , it was loud. the Central band brought the noise, as did the fans and band from BH..........

BH wins big , not sure of final , but it was a 15+ win.

BHFAN your going to get on here and say that BH had better talent than Beaumont Central 2 years ago. If you believe that then your badly mistaken. As for getting beat by weaker talent , every team that gets in the playoffs is there because they can play. Upsets happen , but in the end it is the kids that play the game and they must take some of the responsibility. I still believe that the staff at BH is one of the best staffs in area. Ask any coach around and they will tell you that BH does more with less than most do with more talent. But in the end you are entitled to your opinion, your crazy ideas, and your wishes. I though am entitled to mine and I believe Price is one heck of a coach and would have been proud to have my sons play under him.

PURPLE 4 EVER your thoughts are right on the money. But it isn't the BH people bash BH and Price. It is the stooges minus there other counter-part. Heck, I bet the kids at BH look at this as an attack on them. I can only imagine who these two guys blame when their kids don't succeed in anything. Most likely blame theie kids teachers, coaches , friends , etc........... never do point the finger at the kids. Last time I played, the players have responsiblity in everything they do.

OZEN OR H.J.-WHO WOULD YOU TAKE IN THIS MATCHUP?
oldman replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I say Ozen wins this one. The margin of victory depends on what coach gets to pick the officials from the Beaumont Chapter. -
Isn't this the same weekend as the Gulf Coast Classic @ Barbers Hill. Why isn't H-J going back to the Gulf Coast Classic? Thought they won it last year.
-
Now HJ knows what it feels like to get cheated by officials. Been going on at HJ for years............. Hudson is a legit team though. Must give them some credit. I read on another message board where Chapel Hill fans made the same comments about the officiating at HJ's Tourney.

I have never had the pleasure of having a team play one of Hand's teams , so no he never ran the score up on me. Good coach , maybe....... better recruiter, without a doubt........... He recruited better in HS than he ever did at ETBU. The man ( used lightly ) got away wit murder recruiting the other HS in his area.

Look for another loss against WOS. When you depend on the 3 for offense and it isn't falling then be ready to lose. -
Barbers Hill 62 PN-G 49 Final/Comments
oldman replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Wasn't PNG 5-1 on the season? Ybarra must have played for BH to win. Is this the same team that Nederland waxed to open the season. Either BH is much improved or PNG just played bad... -
End of conversation for me. MHS32 is the savior. He and BH89-2 are the most knowledgable footbal people in Southeast Texas. Maybe if everyone in the area would listen to them more state titles would come to the area. This oldman is done.

Some people never change. Critical and pointing fingers. Enlighten me to what the guys at BH should be doing.

Nederland vs. Barbers Hill Nov. 13th Predictions?
oldman replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Went to the BH scrimmage the other night. They looked decent. Struggled shooting somewhat. What I did notice was a 6'8 kid who played on the JV. I was told he moved in a few weeks ago and he will be able to play Varsity come Monday. Think he moved in from Friendswood area. He dominated the JV scrimmage. -
When you huddle , you have no clue as to what the defense is lining up in. If you go no huddle you can call your play to the alignment of the defense. Staffs all across the area lose coaches. To me the no huddle is exactly what you need to run if you want to see what the defense is lining up in.

Is that a take on the coaching staff at BH Mr. Terror? Giving up holidays!!!!!
