Without Price on the bump, I dont see it being close.  There is no way Buna loses 3 in a row, they just ran into a tough week last week.

My guess is that most of southeast Texas has not seen Woodville play and are believing all of your nonsense.  I have seen Woodville play a couple of times this year.  You have two pitchers and two hitters.  Both are good players.  The rest of your team are mediocre AT BEST, with a few below average.  I watched you lose 2 games at your own tournament.  I do not know too much about Warren, but what I saw was you throw your two "studs" on the mound and they threw a young lefty and still out hit you guys.  I also saw an average Coldspring team put it to you, still unsure how setexas ignores those as losses. Do not hide behind your "ranking."  I have seen Kountze, Big Sandy, and West Sabine play and they are much worse than Hemphill and Hemphill remains at the bottom of the list.  Hemphill will beat Woodville because they have the better player and top to bottom better team.

I am more ready for Hemphill vs Woodville so eagleswoodville can come back to reality and see his team is overrated.  2 good players on Woodville.  Overrated!

[/quote] The Deweyville pitcher can throw.  He was good last year, and he has gotten a lot better.  Those two runs were tough to come by.  I hope that you underestimate him if he pitches against you.

Haynes being able to recruit his players at Kelly?? There is no telling how good they could be.  It would be a great fit.

This thread should be over with.  Kountze is a solid baseball team and they will definitely bounce back.  Having a bad game after a big win is sometimes a part of baseball.

Why is the Price kid not pitching tonight?  It does not make much sense to not pitch him if he is their ace and Kountze wants a playoff spot.

Buna's lefty is much better.

Who threw for Hardin?

Congrats! Well deserved for a class act of a coach.  Coach Terrier proves that you can build a successful program with class.  The Warriors sure made him earn that 100th win.  Best of luck on 200 to a great coach.

Updated after 1st round of district games: 1.  Buna 2.  Hemphill 3.  Evadale 4.  Hardin 5.  Anahuac 6.  Woodville 7.  Kountze 8.  Deweyville 9.  Warren 10.  Big Sandy I am not from Hemphill.  Before you start to make assumptions, you should see some teams play.  Buna gets the top spot after taking down Hardin.  Evadale still does not have their basketball kids.  I anticipate this list changing weekly due to all the close competition, especially in 24-2a's district.
