Gander playoff windup set for Monday From sports staff reports Baytown Sun Published May 15, 2010 ALVIN – The final two innings of Robert E. Lee’s area-round baseball playoff against Fort Bend Austin have been reset for 6 p.m. Monday at Alvin’s Nolan Ryan Field. The game was suspended because of rain and lightning Friday night with one out in the top of the sixth inning and Fort Bend Austin leading 5-0. Both teams traveled back to Nolan Ryan Field Saturday to finish the game then, but a decision was made 30 minutes before the scheduled 1 p.m. restart that the weather would not allow it. When play resumes, it will pick up right where it left off. Normally, a ballgame is certified as complete if five innings are played, but the UIL requires playoff games to complete seven innings, if possible. Austin's Bulldogs, the 23-5A third-place team, are 22-13. Lee’s District 21-5A champions are 18-11

Not saying it had to do with BH GCM game just saying they should of left the man alone and stop bashing him thats all....Hate the skipper or not he still the skipper and us as parents need not bash him because it really gets in our kids head and the team don't play to the ability everyone knows they can...real talk....GO GANDERS....

What are the rules about fans bringing noise makers like horns,bells,empty water bottles with marbles or rocks in it...etc....to a playoff game?

You sure are right GCMPats,There was alot of "love" going on about the man.......I don't even know him but I'll tip my hat to him......I wonder how the trend would have been "IF" BH would have beat GCM......The hardest thing about being a baseball coach from little league to the big leagues is when your winning everybody loves you but when you lose,you are a no good for nothing,I dont know why they hired you,sorry sum a fitch...I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!GO GANDERS...
