I figured you would like the first blood comment. A little bit of smack talk reminds me of the days when HF was in our District. Anahuac did go toe-toe with HF till 4th. 14 points of HJ was scooped fumbles for TD. I will say that if EC does not clean up fumbles and dangles that carrot, HF will definitely want to spoil EC Homecoming. All in All I pray it's a good clean game with no injuries for either team and both teams know it's a sport of competition not Hate. P.S. No way HF wins this game. (Just a little smack to make you laugh.) I'll be here Sat. either way it goes.

Halftime Hamshire Fannett 23 Kountze 14. Struggled? Kountze RB Adams ran out of gas second half. Win by 21 points and now your going to take on the world. Sometimes you have to play the game to shut some people up. EC might have underestimated HF 1 year but HF has always over estimated themselves. Need I say more ? All I can say is you drew first blood.

EC gave up too scoop ball for TD's for 14 points. They are going to have to clean that up before District. HJ did make two pretty good drives. I think both teams will learn a lot from this game and will make both teams better for district.

That's why we play the game!!!! Everyone has lost a game that they should not have and change the whole dynamics of the district. It's not over till the fat lady sings.

I agree that playing up on pre-season will elevate program but that is the coaches decision. Neither one of us coach at EC. Applying is not a offer.

No. Actually I would give EC the edge if they played regular season. Liberty just put in everyone tight pound and ground but EC defense held ok. Just didn't dominate. I think EC scored 1 scrimmage play 1 regular play and twice goal line. Liberty 1 scrimmage 1 regular and 1 goal line.

Split between Cam and Jr

EC offense looked rusty but will be ok by regular season. Offense showed good potential. Defense is going to need some work but still early with plenty of time. Scrimmage will definitely help iron things out.

They have a long way to prove best in 10 years. They will be improved over last year but will still have to prove themselves. I hope they do prove it but until then it's just a theory. Until then God Bless those BUCS!!!!!

I would like to think so, but beating Woodville in Woodville will be a challenge for first district game of the year.

Will EC be at full strength ?

I watched the Buna & Hitchcock playoff game at EC. Buna played them close till he third quarter and could not make it up in the 4th. Hitchcock has a big man under basket and will use his weight to get to basket. I thought he should have a couple of charges but the ref's let him push Buna till he position himself to shoot.

Last time we played at Lee College I heard that rocks were thrown at windows of cars in parking lot so if you see anything report it.

That will be great if it's a double header with Kountze. I would like to support Kountze as much as possible, if they are not playing EC.
