I'm not covering for who did it, I just want everyone to know it goes both ways. I hope it was not EC but this has been going on for a long time. I think Kountze will come out of that on top. You ask why? As I stated above...Kountze will come at you from every angle...you cant target anything specific, to many weapons, to much speed and back that up with size. Complement that with a very good special teams and you have the makings of a successful season.  Newton and EC best not over look Kirbyville or Kountze because they have the ability to beat you.  It's all good, time will tell, but things should shape up to be a very fun year in 10-2A Div 1. I am proud of the HF boys they battled until the bitter end and never gave up. The EC coach was a class act he had time to put up another TD in the last minute of the game and decided to take a knee instead. Hats off to the EC fans you guys have a real good team to root for, I look for them to go 10-0. I would like to give a shout out to all of the HF fans especially Randy Alavarez, we finally brought some school spirit to a game that I have not seen in a long time.
