??? We never had any issues exploited like this when I was in school, but we didnt have cell phones yet either. Dont know what happened so im not going to speculate. As far as someone saying school's shouldnt have authority over non school activities, but some people need to realize it might be the only authority figure they have and an education doesnt just mean math or grammar it also means dicipline and guidance for your adulthood. JMO.

A couple of weeks ago, a lady won $619.00 and she donated the whole thing back to Silsbee's Operation Graduation. Speveto probably had to have beer money after watching his beloved Mustangs fall to the Tigers ;D Thats what i would have done, then plit the beer with my compadres, Gas, Gun, griff, etc. No Skipper, your already tanked enough as it is. haha

Seemed to me that the I was working against Silsbee when we ran it. We need more North to South running instead of trying to get outside. We shouldnt abandon our passing either. I just think that there is still an uncomfortableness(is that a word?) with our young QB.

I agree that Silsbee is prolly the best 2-4 team in the state. Just dont let the guard down. BC could be a trap game if you know what I mean. We shall see. I havent been predicting games this year for obvious reasons, but if the same Silsbee team shows up Friday that did against WOS, then look out BC!

You probably know very little about football with that kind of statement. People are so quick to blame to the coach... Yep, we could have Jimmy Johnson running the show and still lose. You can be a hell of a coach, but cant make the kids execute the plays. I dont care who you are. We got beat hands down. Lets drop it and look forward to the future.

Well I heard he had a neck injury at practice this past week and reaggrevated it on that play. what I heard last night that he was moving all his limbs, so hopefully he will be ok. I hate to see anything like this happen to a kid, football or not. My prayers are to him to make a speedy recovery.

Well, now that this game is behind us, I will support Silsbee in the playoffs. I believe yall are real close to becoming an elite team. Whats crappy is yall record is 2-4 when it should be the opposite. Good luck to the Tigers and I hope my mustangs find the heart and dicipline that they somewhere lost.

My opinion on last night game..... Silsbee wanted it way more. you could tell from their swagger and heart. Silsbees record DOES NOT indicate their team. They are good, maybe real good. Johnson is going to be a good one, just wished he would have stayed in Texas. As for my Mustangs...??? Where is the leadership on the offensive side of the ball? Our defense played great, but if we cant score on Offense we cant win. Yeah, weather had a factor, but on both sides. Our guys looked lost and had no determination on offense. It looked like we were going through the motions. Our O.C. is great and a great man, but you cant make the kids execute plays. He did his best to get the kids in it, but seemed like they wanted to lollygag around. Where in the ***** is the dicipline on the offensive side of the ball? Where were the Mustangs last night, because they sure werent playing football. As much as i hate to say it, IMO the better team won last night.

coop, you think the Stangs will better next year? I think so, They have several Sophomores playing on both sides of the ball, QB, RB will be back as well. 2nd string QB could be another Beasley, he's a Freshmen now starting JV QB. They won't be as young the next 2 years, watch out. We all know WOS has talent but it is always next year will be the team. It sounds like you guys have given up on this years team. Everytime WOS does not play up to you guys expectations you are quick to blame. Lets see it is the OC fault, the kicking game sucks, Too many penalties, what else? As long as you guys are winning everything is fine and yes you did win but not like you wanted. When you start losing the fans will disappear. All you have to do is look at the other sports. Thick or thin you guys are not. You may not experience that in football for a while but someday you will. Low blow. But... you do have a valid argument :-\

Ok, Ihave a few things to say here. First, by someone saying that WOS has never had a good kicker is a personal insult to me. we have had good kickers> Second, the person whining about the band during a kick is stupid. believe me, when we have to kick an important fieldgoal, we dont hear a thing. This is not golf, its football. going after the WOS kicker for missing that fieldgoal is crap. A good kick relies on three people, snapper, holder, and kicker. If one of those are off, then bad kick. i know him, and he is a great kicker. he just needs some polishing. People need to remember that those kids read these boards and by insulting them it hurts their confidence. They are kids for Gods sake, give them a break! Lastly, i will be at practice starting on monday to help him out, and will continue for the rest of the season. He has the fundamentals, just needs some advice. I might not be a kicker guru, but i do have college and pro experience that maybe i can pass on to him. I feel that i should have been working with him from the start, but owning two businesses has taken all of my time. I do feel though that I owe it to my alma mater and a kicker that has the potential to be great, to lend a hand. In closing(haha) i think K'ville is the real deal and will compete for the crown in 2A. peace. oh, BTW, I wasnt calling the poster that alked about the band stupid, just the notion.

Whereas I think your first paragraph is honorable, I was wondering if you thought it necessary to pick on "Orange County" athletes. Not sure to whom you are referring, but it sure does make the kind words offered at first sound sort of bitter. What brought that on? I m sure there was no disrespect intended
