Waterwood's water was rising fast about 2 hours ago. They could only see 3" of my sisters mailbox.

They are talking about over 1 billion dollars worth of damage in Orange and Jefferson county with most of it being in Orange County.

Kicker--at the Orange county command center downtown Orange--we are at 5ft of water so we are stuck, but on generated power. We are getting swamped with rescue calls. Coast Guard Blackhawks and Dolphins are on the way!

Firestone has 5 foot of water right now.

Im wanting to confirm it also. My parents live directly accross from the City hall on western. We are not sure how deep the water is, but it is flooded.

Kirbyville just got pummeled by a tornado on 96 going toward Jasper. Heavy damage reported.

Confirmed, Orangefield HS is ok. But 5' of water is in Firestone off of Dupont drive.

Coastguard is about to start flying into the Orange and BC areas for rescue efforts.

Unofficially, Orangefield school area is ok. We are trying to confirm that asap!
