Well, the problem right now is that we still don't know where it is going to go. If there will be an evacuation it prolly wont be until 24 to 36 hours out of landfall. So basically we would be under some type of warning or watch. I say if people dont feel safe tommorrow afternoon to start getting out before an evacuation has to be called. That is if they have the resources to do it.

Yep just saw that and also the slower it goes the more time it has to intensify :'(

Anyone can come back in guys, but remember we are still under an evacuation order and a Hurricane warning from the NWS. The weather is fine right now but will turn for the worse in a few hours. It also seems that the storm is wanting to go due west as it hits the LA coast. We can still have pretty strong wind and lots of rain. Remember it doesnt take much to lose power, so if you are in a cozy hotel room I would wait a while to see what will happen. It would not be fun to come home to no electricity. Also, I just drove through BC and Orange and the only store open is Snappys at hwy62 and hwy87. They also have gas. Everyone else is closed and boarded up.

Silsbee has 3 talented players comming back on offense that are sure to make more TD's and rushing yards than anybody in the district. Silsbee was at WO-S in 2007! What's up with being there again in 2008? The Uil resets the home and home series after realignment. I believe my 3 years of varsity, we played LCM twice at home in a row. And Nederland Twice away in a row. It just depends how the draw goes.

I didnt like it. I read it today, and it was just a re-cap( They should have WOS's road to the title in there :'( ). I didnt see any pre-season polls or anything like that(maybe I missed it). The HS football section was larger than usual though. I think every issue gets worse and worse. I know they are trying to cover so much in one magazine, but why not split it up? Dave C's college football and Dave C's Texas HS football. This would allow more indepth analysis on HS teams, resulting in more magazine sales. Anyways just my opinion.

Well, we dont see it happening anytime soon. The city of Orange is being very difficult to communicate with. Its like they dont want us to play. Go figure. thats pretty typical of them. They are more concerned with economic growth than their citizens. :

Man, I pretty much gave up on that. I offered last year, but didnt get anywhere. I am against beating a dead horse, but I am a little touchy when it comes to that topic. A good team has 3 phases, not 2. I think we could have beat La Vega if we had one. Just the threat of having a good fieldgoal kicker can make the other team change their whole defensive scheme. Being two demensional in football will hurt you.
