Yes, I meant "mid-majors" in 3A. Not saying anything negative here, but your Jasper's, Silsbee's, or your WOS's arent really considered 3A. Atleast not statisticaly if you know what I mean. Example: Oklahoma would be a normal D1 team while Hawaii is D1 and doesnt get the same recognition.

Im not sure, but the best "field" in the area is at WOS middle school a.k.a. old Stark Stadium.

In fact, I believe the last "small" school to get one was Orangefield in '99. My good friend Beaux Daville got the offensive. You know they hated that, but he was nasty, you couldnt overlook him. It would have proved their bias. I think he still holds some 3A records.

The stands(WOS) were built while they were the West Orange Cheifs(a 3A school). Im not sure why they made the stadium so large unless they forseen a merger with Stark and 5A on the horizon. ??? The stands are great, and you have the most foot room in the area. If the bond would pass, then the seats would probably be buckets for the reserved section. Alteast I think so. I brought some of my friends down fro Lafayette a year or two ago to play a softball tournament in Beaumont. I decided to bring them by the stadium. They were amazed at the size.He asked me how many thousands of students went to WOS....I just laughed. I told him about 1000 minus 350.

D1 doesnt look anywhere the same as D2. I see only Royse City and Wylie as strong teams. Mostly everyone else is playing.500 ball.

I didnt get to practice much during practice in HS. Coach Thompson had me practicing line backer or strong safety. I practiced mostly during Offensive period. And yes, by myself. ;D

Thanks. I love to go to the games for entertainment and tradition. It makes me so mad when someone critisizes HS sports. Give me a break, its kids!!! I like to get into debates and discussions, but it makes it fun. I dont understand how some people get so enpahtuated in it. It seems to me, they are trying to re-live their past.

Now, when we lost to Wimberley in 05, they were GOOD!!!! They handed it to us. It didnt matter if we played perfect, we were still going to lose that game.
