A perfect example would be PA Lincoln. They probably had some of the best talent in the state every year, but would get beat by 50 or more every game. That lack of discipline caused them to be a cakewalk for most teams. I know they were a good team in '99, but look at the earlier years.

What is any of this acomplishing?? Can we please stop all this trash. Are any of you that are bashing people on this board realizing yall are looking like idiots? It is very easy to hide behind a screen name isnt it. I am not trying to call anyone out here, but would you be saying this if people knew who you are? Why cant we just enjoy the ENTERTAINMENT that these kids give us. Why not take pride in our school. It is very special to have been able to play for WOS. People know who we are. Lets not give them a bad impression of what type of fans we are. I noticed over the past few years that our attendance has declined at the games. When I played (late 90's) it was so hard to find a seat. It seemed like every game was packed at 5:30. Before pre-game even. Everyone has blamed the lack of attendance on enrollment. I see something different now. Has anyone blamed the drop on the negative fans? The last thing I want is to go to a game for ENTERTAINMENT, and hear cussing and yelling at the coaches/players. This ruins the experience. I think all the good fans got tired of the crap from the bad ones. One of my family members has had the same seats at DRH stadium for 30 years now. 30 YEARS. Thats from West Orange Chiefs to WOS Mustangs. He has made the comment of being tired of all the negativity. He says its not as fun as it used to be. Trust me, he has seen all of it. There is something missing, and I dont think it is an OC, its PRIDE. We have lost it. We are more worried about downsizing a man that gives his all for kids instead of supporting our team through ups and downs. I was and always will be a Mustang. I am PROUD to be a Mustang. Yep, I agree. After watching LCM against us, they looked really good. There is something that is hampering them. I think it is very minor also. I just dont know what it is. They have the talent and the heart, their coach is good and they have a great fan following. What is it??? Conditioning maybe? I do think if they fix it, they will roll. JMO

You can always tell the teams that are not used to winning. When they FINALY win a big game, they think that they are the top S***. You might want to stay humble Lumberton fans, there is a lot of football left. With that said, congrats! You deserved it. Just dont make yourselves look like fools for all the smack on here.

I agree 100%. The play calling was actually pretty dynamic. We just looked rusty.

HF looks much better than last year. I think they can compete. Nothing against HF, but it could have been 60 something to 7 if we could catch a deep ball. By the way, their touchdown was actually a touchback. Just saw the replay on the tailgate show. He fumbled the ball on th 2 yard line and then went out of the endzone. Should have been a shutout. Those officials were bad for both teams. They were even having problems counting yards on penalties. : Anyways, GOOD JOB 'STANGS!! and GOOD LUCK TO HF! I think they might have something going there.
