Dang, all I wanted to do is to help the team get a kicker. I guess I am re-living my "miserable" HS career by wanting to voluntarily help in that area. Just an ex-player wanting to help, thats all.

maybe I should approach coach Hooks and ask him if he wants me to volunteer. If they can give me a kid with soccer experience, I can give them a kicker. It doesnt take much, just repetition and technique. I guess ill call them Monday. Youy cant tell me we have no one with soccer experience.

Well, at least its better than no points.

If you knew anything, DPG doesnt have the breakaway speed per say. He just runs very quickly and like a pin ball. He is more of an Emmitt Smith type of runner. As far as him being overrated, look at the field conditions both weeks so far. Walter Payton would have kept slipping too!

Kind of off topic, but LCM has a giant band! They are loud too. As much as I hate to say it, I liked the Bears intro to the game. Shows alot of pride. Keep yelling "first down" but please, please get rid of the Bear growl!! LOL

First of all, we all thought that we would take our lumps early. We never said we were going to be "that good" I will go as far to say that they look better early than expected. LCM just came to win. It wasnt that we are not "that good", its that LCM might be "that good" Just wait and see, we will still turn heads like we have been for 30 years.

Even though I love to win, it sucks to lose a game that close. I would rather get beat by 40. We (WOS) always find a way to win. I was very impressed!! Those kids have some heart. They are conditioned too. Hats off to Moody. I think if the field would have been better we still would have one, but maybe 27-21. Not 6-0. Right now, I think LCM has a dang good chance of pulling off the district this year. Youve got to give my Mustangs credit. We always find a way to win. Thats why we have always been great!
