Kind of funny, that Deon and Earl will be playing with a player from each of our nemesis the past two seasons. One from Wimberley and one from Giddings. You know they have to poke fun at each other at practice. As much as I hate to lose, atleast we have lost to some damb good teams!

Geographicly, WOS/Orangefiled/BC would be smart. They are only 5 miles apart. That would give us a Large 4A or 5A school. It would be another 3 school merger like Port Arthur did.

How about the Orange HS Hurricanes or the Orange HS Bengals? We would have to be primarily Orange in color. Blue or Green wouldnt work. We would have to make it an individual school. Where would we play? LCM or WOS? I say renovate the field at 16th and Green. Its probably one of the best fields in the state anyway. As a more realistic merger, I would think that WOS would merge with Orangfield and LCM with Deweyville.

I have to agree with you on that one. In the '90s, we knew if our team was good, and we were going to the playoffs that we would eventually have to face the beasts from LaMarque. I hated those guys! You have to give them respect though.

Jasper is just so if'y to me. We can probably all agree that last years Jasper was a fluke. It happened to us, 99 team wasnt that good at all. The next year we run the table and go to State. I like Jasper this year, but want to see their first game before I say they are in the top three. JMO

Yep, thats why you never look past anyone. Sad thing is that we probably had the team to beat LaMarque that year. We will never know. That had to be one of the most talented WOS teams in a while.

First of all, there is no "wood" on any part of football equiptment. Could you please elaborate on this? Also, since you havent played Silsbee or WOS personally on a varsity level, you have no idea how much "wood" WOS and Silsbee can bring. Im not sure if snot bubbles are in you vocabulary, but you might want to research them. Make sure you wear oversized pads when you play us. This is going to be hilarious.
