  1. Goes to show how much you know......scrimmages don't show much Big House.... :? Most from Dayton or Barbers Hill that have played each other or have seen each other would not agree with that. I am not saying BH is the favorite, but their defense is good enough to hand with anyone in our two districts and BH would win most games. In my opinion Dayton is the ONLY team in these two districts that might beat BH. I am sure others don't agree, but that is my opinion.
  2. I think BH will have 2-4 this year: Mason Fisher -DB/WR (deserves to get div-1) Kyle Cox - DE/LB (could get a Div-1 if grades are good enough) Blake Patton - Athlete possible Others possible.
  3. I am optomistic we may have won much more by the end of 06/07: Football - Very Possible Baseball - Very possible Volleyball - Done Tennis - Almost done Basketball - We get spanked here...
  4. No chance at an upset. Anahuac has been on a steady decline for the past 3 years. There is a lot of construction moving out East of Houston and eventually it will spread South of I-10 towards Anahuac. Maybe they will get a few new folks that way and build a better program.
  5. Warren wins in a close game.
  6. I originally thought Giddings might be the team to beat in Div-2, however last week Giddings barely beat LaGrange. Just FYI, if you want the rel scoop on Giddings talk to EAGLETOWN as his nephew is the star QB.
  7. I think Jasper and Silsbee are not very good and neither is BC. Kirbyville whipped you, as they should. The BC vs. OF is a toss-up at that.
  8. Everyone except Kirbyville is a lesser than average team. Diboll without their new and former Japser QB is very bad. HF is always terrible. Bridge City is DOWN this year and has NO defense. Coldsprings who, come on, give me a break. That entire district is as bad as I have ever seen. They put more weak teams in a district that is struggling to start with. This has not always been the case, but it is this year.
  9. Barbers Hill is very much the same. Lot's of speed. Dayton and Bh would make an incredible match-up, but I think we both hope it's not round one.
  10. Had there been one more game I would have got ya.......21 wins and 2 loses for me. Bet that won't happen this week (week 7).
  11. WOS 34 Silsbee 10 Silsbee is as overrated as they come and NO match for the Mustangs.
  12. Piratefan, I hate to do it again two weeks in a row, but as much as I want to pick Vidor I just can't do with Cantral having Brandon Williams. If your defense can score on them, then I say you might have a shot at an upset. Good luck and I hope I am wrong. I will say: Central 24 Vidor 13
  13. I'll tell you what, not bein a homer here, but when Barbers Hill's QB is only 124 yards total passing behind Brenham's QB that ain't bad. Not to mention he has NEVER played QB before.
  14. Why you say that Gringo? You have not heard, BH's defense is not very good this year....
  15. I picked Cleveland just because they are both so bad this year and Liberty has been beatin by some horrible teams. Not that Cleveland is any better. It's kind of like picking Japser over HF
  16. I am hoping Nederland or PNG do not make the playoffs, this way Dayton is the Division-1 school. I want to see BH and Dayton get a shot in the playoffs, possibly going at least 2 rounds. After that first round, we both are going to have our hands full.
  17. This is the battle of the two worse teams in district. Jasper may actually get their first and only win. I have not seen HF, howerver if they can throw the ball against Jasper they win. Low scoring game here. Jasper 13 HF 10
