Being an EMT I say this is a no brainer. The units are very inexpensive and because they are mostly "Automatic" units, Shelman is right you can't screw it up. I read a statistic recently that with an AED being used within the first 3 minutes of a heart attack, survival rates increase between 30 and 70 percent. For every minute you do not receive advanced care, you are 10% more likely not to survive. I'll donate one and train the staff to use it, if a school can't afford it.

He is athletic and has good speed. His twin brother is also the running back. BH runs a lot fo draw plays and most always has a one back set. He is actually doing very well, even better than expected. The back-up QB (sorry don't know his name) looks to be ok, but he has not done a lot of throwing in his time on the field. The next few years may be interesting for BH. We lose a lot of 2 and 3 year starters (Seniors) after this year.

I am Ok with that. I have been good though, so the shot must have been at my BHFAn friend...... Having said that, nothing would suprise me anymore.

This will be the Mid-County "Battle of the Flops." I still say Nederland takes this one. To answer the post, mine is Nederland and Bridge City. I was expecting much more out of both.

I sure hope your right. I do however have to disagree with another poster who says we don't have as many athletes. Yes Mason is a great talent, but there are several other players whom in my opinion are VERY good. Look at Cox as an example. That kid is one of the most dominant defensive player in SE Texas, if not all of Texas. McSwain and Sexton are no push-over. Our fine Baytown transfer is not exactly lacking abaility, he just does not get much opportunity. Nick Coggin is a fine kicker and Mason has become quite good at punting. Kudos also has to go to the entire defensive line. How many time have you seen the entire line stop the run all the way to the sideline with no or very little gain. I am not going to bash the coaches, but there is some truth to some of the one-on-one matchups our rceivers have had. If you need a critical third down and you have a multiple 6 foot plus receivers matched up with a 5-4 or 5-5 defender, don't worry about Galena Park. No one is going to sneak-up on anyone come week 10 and that's when we play them.

Dayton will win this one easily. Having said that I am pulling for Vidor to make the 3rd spot. I was hoping for PNG in the 3rd, but I'll take Vidor because I like their team and fans.

I am not at all "posessed" with PNG. I actually would like to see you make the playoffs so it would give BH a chance to play you rather than Dayton. My point with the post are this site has placed PNG WAY UP HIGH in the polls compared to other teams. I just don't see or understand the reasoning for it. To be fair I also think they got BH too high.

I am not sure what happend to Nederland's defense the last two games, as I once thought they were pretty darn good. Having said that, PNG is so bad this year it won't matter. Nederland runs all over PNG this Friday. It will be the Mosley show.
