I don't think a lot of you in this area got to see #5 Darrin Sells play this year. Guys on the 2A level who are Kountze don't get a lot of spotlight, not dissing Kountze cause they are always at the top every year. I think some guys in the Silsbee and Kountze area did see him play and he is hands down one of the top 7 in SETX. I know he doesn't play against great teams like 3A and 4A teams do but he can't help that. This kid is great, on and off the court.

52-31 at the end of the 3rd. Woodville came out flat after halftime.

35-25 Crockett at the half. Woodville's bench is killing them. Crockett has real good depth.

Crockett up 16-13 at the end of the 1st. If woodville plays with confidence, they'll make it a tight game.

I think if Woodville plays to their ability, they can compete with them. If they come in intimidated, they'll get ran out of the building. They need to play their aggressive way all night and they'll be alright.

Woodville took care of business tonight. They were up by 14 or 12 for most of the second half, despite the fouls being 10-1 by the end of the third. Never seen em that lopsided. Oh well, Crockett is next.

I'm a woodville fan but why do insist on making predictions that we'll score 70 or 80 points? lol it's not gonna happen. but to answer your question, woodville should win this one easily if they stay focused while they have the week off from school and then will beat woden for 2nd unless woden loses to corrigan, which is very possible

I have watched several high school games this year, and I can't even describe to you how disgusted I am with refs. In the NBA, guys get away with a lot of stuff that is basic basketball; travel, carry, moving screen, etc. That has now trickled down into college and now high school. EastTexasBB, I couldn't agree with you more...for a change. Coaches can't have a discussion with the ref without the refs getting an attitude and trying to throw the coach out or tech him up. Cool-breeze, I'm like you...it's hard to even watch this game we all love. And I'm not making excuses for Woodville losing, I wasn't even there so props to CH with their win and most likely the district championship.

great game by both teams. sad to say the umpires were ridiculous, both ways. woodville looked to be down for the count after the wildcats took an early 8-0 lead but with their playoff hopes on the line they played like the good team they have the potential to be and found a way to win. i will continue to say this, when they play like they know how this team is tough to beat but we dont see that team too often. big game for the eagles tuesday night vs hemphill. we'll see what happens now that the hornets arent at their whiffle ball park of 200 ft in left field they call home lol should be a dandy

alright mmccary i haven't been on in quite sometime, but yes i will continue to be cocky, towards you because you seem to find humor in putting down the eagles. you're SA program might the worst athletic program right now in the state of texas so I guess you have no choice but to make yourself feel better by poking fun at other schools. but hey its fine by me, talk all the trash you want about woodville not doing anything after winning district while you guys are the ones who are on to the next sport after having another atrocious season. and btw, to everybody else, this district should be a great one to watch play out. there are so many things that can happen between now and the end of the season

this might be the dumbest post i've seen you make. i thought you were pretty intelligent but not on this one. yes, i agree everybody will beat everybody, except SA, but I will guaranty you hemphill will not win this district and woodville will not have 7 losses. but i guess it'll just have to proven to you.
