Woodville's coaching staff has their kids heads on straight. They know that this is the playoffs and anybody can win on any given night, that's why they're suitin up firday night. We know east chambers is a tough team, nobody thinks our guys will just run through you.

Woodville is a decent team too. They proved that Friday night. Not saying they're anywhere near the program that Kirbyville and Newton have but they at least deserve a little respect. This Friday night should be a dandy though

Last week all 3 teams, (Kirbyville, Newton, Woodville), of district 22 beat up district 21 like a drummer. I wanted to know your opinion on the toughest district in 2A. Many thought it would be district 21 with Corrigan and New Waverly but Woodville and Kirbyville brought that to a hault. This week all of district 22 is matched up with district 23 and I predict all 3 of district 22 teams to come out with a dominating victory. Let me know what you guys think?

The score to the Woodville and Warren Game was actually 51-7. That would make it Woodville 130 and their opponets 67. The only reason East Chambers thinks they are so good is because they haven't played anybody in the last 4 weeks. They've had a bye, then played Kountze and Warren who are possibly THE two worst teams in texas, and then had another bye last week. If I was an EC fan I would be convinced that we are a good team after a month of football like that. I've said it before and I'll say it again, 22-2A is THE best 2A district around. 23-2A is weak and all 3 teams in district 22 play all 3 teams in district 23. District 22 will run through yall just like we did district 21 last week.

This past week the New Waverly Bulldogs took on the Woodville Eagles for the right to move on to the next round. Before the game New Waverly posted a blog titled "A Walk In The Park." In the blog New Waverly talked about how their game against the Eagles would be a "walk in the park" and many setx followers said it would be a miracle if the Eagles won. The only "walk in the park" this past friday night was the bulldogs walk on back to new waverly with a 21-14 loss after going undefeated in district. Nobody gave us a chance and this just goes to prove why we play the games instead of just picking them. Woodville hasn't won a playoff game in 25 years and under the new coaching staff, brilliant play of our defense, offensive line, running-back darren sells and superstar quarterback calib hadnot we dominated the Bulldogs. New Waverly said it would be easy to contain Hadnot but failed to do that as well. Good luck to New Waverly in basketball becuase that's where you'll be while we play in week 12.

The Lady Eagles started off their road to Austin last night with a 49-30 over Brookeland Wildcats. Since Brookeland does not have a volleyball team and have played basketball since August, many thought that the Lady Wildcats would give the Lady Eagles a run for there money and because the Lady Eagle's starting five just came from volleyball. But after one practice the Lady Eagles picked up where they left off last year. Good luck Lady Eagles on your way back to Austin!

This game will now be played at Silsbee High School thursday night at 6. It's no longer at Kountze anymore. It will still be played at 6:00. Good luck to both teams

Let me know your predictions for this one. In my opinion, Warren will have a great time with this one. I watched the New Waverly and Hemphill game last night and New Waverly cannot and will not hang with the lady Warriors. The Warriors will win this one in 3. Good luck Warren, but I doubt you'll need it yall are the much better team :D

Well Kirbyville's plan of tanking there district tiebreaker game with Hemphill failed last night, in three games I might add. Last Friday night Kirbyville gave up second place to the Hemphill Hornets. They did not even act like they wanted to win. Going into this season Kirbyville was predicted to roll through district but found it hard to even make it to third. After seeing how the playoff brackets would turn out, I guess Kirbyville decided they would have a better shot at beating Anderson than New Waverly. Last night Anderson beat Kirbyville in three games. Congratulations Anderson Shiro on well deserved win, Kirbyville did not deserve that at all and that's why they get to take down the nets, lower the goals, and get there hoop on. haha let me know what you guys think about Kirbyville's loss and there plan to lose to Hemphill intentionally

And the Eagles wish you guys good luck as well but Warren, if there was ZERO adrenaline then how do you explain them fighting back from being down 24-14? You just dont come from behind 12 points with ZERO adrenaline. Good Luck To You WARREN! i mean that as well

The only gift wrapping thats going to happen is when Woodville gift wraps the loss they will give you guys tomorrow night.

They won in three because Hardin play them hard. Don't get me wrong warren is a really good team but i watched the game friday night and hardin gift wrapped that game, tied a ribbon around it, and gave it to warren as an early christmas present. I think anybody who watched the game will agree? like i said, I'm not taking anything away from warren because they are a good team but i just think Hardin didn't put up a fight

Yes it was highly anticipated because warren thought they would roll over Woodville and they didn't. Yes Woodville let the warriors come back in the 3rd game and was actually quite embarrassing haha but i'll give credit to both teams, but Woodville is just the better team right now. and you would have said it was highly anticipated if yall would have won, but yall didn't so you can no comment all you want. haha just kidding. good luck to all the local teams in the playoffs!

If you didnt know, the Warren Lady Warriors took on the the Woodville Lady Eagles in warm up game monday night in Woodville. This was a highly anticipated game as Woodville prepares for Hardin this thursday night. As many of you know, Hardin gave over the district title last friday night to the Lady Warriors in 3 games. Hardin believes they have a better chance in playing Woodville thursday night. They are sadly mistaken. The Lady Eagles defeated these supposedly "awesome" lady warriors in 5 games. Now the Warriors put up a good battle at times but the Eagles were the better team. Warren has beat Woodville before, earlier in the season, but Woodville has gotten better and have all starters back and ready to go. Warren may say they werent taking the game seriously or didnt play good, but I was there and both teams fought hard to win. The atmosphere in the gym felt just like a playoff game and both teams fought and played bad at times. All i have to say is look out Hardin, the Lady Eagles are on the move. Let me know who you pick to win this thursday night and comments on the warren/woodville game.

Coach k is now the girls basketball coach at kountze high school. Coach k is a great man and I wish him the best of luck during kountze's rebuilding years. Love ya coach Killam

Well it looks like the "foot stomping" days are over for Kountze and opposing fans. We will all miss sitting in the stans watching this so called "coach" beat his foot into the ground when they didnt do things right. We especially enjoyed seeing him throw his temper tantrum at the regional finals this past year. His girls played dirty and they deserved the loss that Woodville Lady Eagles handed them. We all got to watch our favorite coach "STOMP THAT FOOT!" Good luck coach and to the Kountze girls who are too scared to play the Woodville Lady Eagles this year and last year. ;D
