LU isn't ready for this kind of move...

FB Marshall can fight evenly with many 5a teams. I wouldnt be surprised if they plow through the playoffs. Did Willowridge drop to 4a too?

[/quote] I'm all for Lamar bettering itself. I just don't think LU is ready for FBS. There's not enough funding or support for it, plus the Houston market is better carried by SHSU.

I think Lamar would better benefit from being an FCS powerhouse as opposed to suddenly moving to FBS "because its the cool thing to do" right now." lamar is not prepared to make such a drastic move Imo.

2007 WB Bruins, excellent size on both sides of the ball. Loaded with DI talent, great depth. Great size on the jV team as well. Had the game won against FB Clements lead by David Carr's brother, Derek but slipped away in litterally the finals minutes. 2008 WB Bruins, same as 2007 team, Christine Micheal's senior year, lost to Dickerson by 1, we all wanted to see C-Mike against Katy's defense and Katy was anticipating it as well. The over definitely has to go with 2009 team ;) and the 2005 team.

I bet some of the players' grades were changed to Double D's.

For now on, they are to be known as the Ozen Hilltoppers.

Let's not forget the 2009 team that lost to Lufkin 43-0 in the crimmage but went on to defeat North Shore and go undefeated and District and knock of #4 Hightower in the playoffs. So, there's no tellin what Stump has up his sleeve!  ;)
