I know that high school football is a way of life in Texas but however, I don't understand. Do they need a new stadium when they already have a big one? Prosper used to play their games at some middle school which used to be their high school (which probably middle school/junior high and Sub-varsity games are played there now as well as soccer). Could that money better used toward something else like spending on teachers and students?

If the Mustangs were to lose this one unexpectedly, there is going to be a very long season! Period. No questions asked but hopefully they can pull this one out!

FYI: The first two head football coaches at West Brook are African-American: Alex Durley and Joe Nolan.

Also, here is something interesting. I believe that Nederland residents are better educated. The percentage of the residents having a bachelor's degree are more than Port Neches and Groves. Does anyone agree with that? Although it mainly does not matter because many residents work in the petrochemical industry which may not require such degree. Congrats to Memorial on the win! Barely escaped from a Great Frisco Wakeland team that is from an area that produces great athletes! DFW has greater athletes from SETX but SETX pulled it off!

Would anyone please stop talking about Toby? If Toby is happy being the head coach elsewhere, then that it's his choice! We can try and convince Coach Foreman to come but if he is happy with his current position, we have to learn how to respect it! Some people (including myself) are tired posts mentioning stuff like that!

Jasper was in 4A along with PNG until 2002 when Jasper dropped down to 3A.

We are excited about this! Pretty soon, the only schools that do not have turf in the Orange area are OF and Deweyville.
