I remember one trip to the Drum, don't remember if it was 2000/2001 with Brookeland and in 1995 with Woden. Left real early from Deep East Texas in shorts and 75 degree weather. Got to Austin early and had to wait outside at the will call window. Temp had dropped about 30 degrees and the wind was blowing like rip. That was a cold wait.. Texas Weather, Got to Luv it!!! Last year was Coach MCGinnis's (SP) first year with the Tigers. This year Coach Bryant is helping him out.

Most of the runs were made on each team taking advantage of errors. Saw some good baserunning last night. A hit here and there were timely for both teams. A good game that took 7 innings to sort out.. Lost fly balls in the outfield has always been a problem on this field, the Shorter light poles do some funny things to the high fly balls. Maybe Pineland will fix this problem if they start there new field. Both Teams will be fine by years in. BucketSitr
