True, These kids can only play who is in front of them. Think back to last spring, everybody was wondering what The AD was thinking about opening up with the reigning state champs Beaumont Kelly. Before the game this was still being talked about." Look at the size of those kids warming up, what was he thinking". Game starts out.... oh crap, then all of a sudden it was WTH happened to them... You never know. Hemphill, big time rivalry. seen games go from 2-0,7-3,14-7, and a few blowouts over the years. But did give us practice at containing and staying within a defensive game plan. Hornets will always be on our schedule. WH... past district foe that has been some hardnose football games with a few great athletes.. Tenaha.... Here we go....... Then Ol "Bye" - When to throw that one in ?? Burkeville, You never know, We've played them year in and year out, many times just to get out of district and to the playoffs. Hopefully Mustand tradition will return. The day after realignmemt makes all of the scrambling to make schedules tough. You are a hero or a goat. Hey Pineland Flash, Got some stats from this game. Both sides. Did you keep a stat for every time the crowds went WOW from all the leather being thrown!!! I do know that #54 and 12 for Tenaha are studs and could play for my team anyday. Proud of the WS kids for stepping up,staying up, and passing this test. Best 4 qtr team we have had in a while. Congrats to Justin. Keep your eye on the prize!! 4.5 or 4.35 ???? Who cares... the kid can fly. I enjoyed watching his electronic 10.99 in the 100M this year but i like watching him getting down to first better....although thru the line and down the field to the endzone is quite exciting.. Justins baseball career has been a fun one to watch. Glad he is able to play for teams that are getting him national exposure. But the best part about Justin is when he shakes your hand, he looks in your eyes and knows how to show respect. He has mine. Enjoy yourself kid!! BucketSitR Coach David

Hemphill had Byley on the mound for 5 then switched to another . CH went thru 4 of them. Big kid on first closed. Haley or Twine did not pitch.

Wild one it was.  Hemphill was up 13-5 after 5.. With 2 out in the 6th, on a 3rd strike that bounced in the dirt then caught by the catcher. Catcher turns and sees the ump fist up for strike 3 and tosses the ball to the mound. Hemphill defense clears the field. CH runner from 3rd walks home. Ump looks at him but doesn't acknowledge(point to the plate for the run). Hemphill runs and gets the ball to keep the batter/runner from scoring. Coaches for Htown confront plate ump. Looks confused. Conference with the field ump. Play stands. From there it went downhill for the Hornets. CH ends up scoring 8 in the 6th to tie it at 13. In the 7th CH plates one then holds Hemphill scoreless. CH wins 14 - 3. Wow wouldn't believed it but i watched it. BucketSitR
