ok well look at it this way.in the 2007 season we were in pretty much last in 2008 we made a big jump to 5th when everyone thought we were still goin to be down lower. yea i know we accomplished nothing last year with a week district but we were also mostly Jr's that does make a difference. these guys have grown and won't make the little mistakes that keep them out of playoffs last year. we have the size, experience, attitude, heart, and believe it or not a little bit of speed not a lot but a little. all that's left is if they can pull it together on the Field. and i for one have faith in them just like some others on this sight.nederland central lumberton and png and yes i am saying vidor they all will be fighting it out for a playoff spot.anything can happen if the boys put their minds to it and really want it bad enough.so yea that's my prediction. no certain order. smitty i'm srry that u don't feel that vidor will make playoffs but u will be upset this year when they do.they beat lumberton and should have beat central with a missed 20 yard feild goal and a blocked extra point to tie the game. and the difference between this team and the 2005 team is it actually means something to them and they have their hearts in the game. yes mathuews was the coach then but the kids now have baught into what he is saying to them and with a group of kids than has been pretty dominat together all through school wich what i mean by that is jr high and freshman year they will be good this year cause they have it in their minds that they can make playoffs and go deep. u can say that jr high and freshman ball is different from varsity ball but when u get a group that has played togeher that long and believe in each other and care about their team mates they will go far. yea they didn't do as good as they should have last seasoin when they lost to ozen wich shouldn't have happend they had 6 turnovers and still only lost by 1 td. they were mostly jr's but coach mat. has done some work with these boys and they have their mind set to make their coach proud and prove all the ppl hatting on them wrong.

yea i understand all the people saying vidor isn't gunna be good enough to be crowned in our district but they will be the most experienced team and from what i can see the most fit team as well. they are gunna be strong and they don't ever slow down. they are always at the school working out and running. I'd say that coach Mathews has finally got in their head that they have the chance to take the crown but all that's left is for them to really want it bad enough. because that is all they need. confidence and will power to go out on the Field and give it their all holding nothing back. video will make playoffs this year but not sure if they will be crowned D-champs until i see how they play their first game next year then we can say if they will or not but until then i'm perfectly fine with just making playoffs. we just have to get some more vidor ppl to get behind them and keep their hopes high.

raidernaytion- man come on why are u always talking bad about vidor are u still upset because we beat yall last year. and u can use all the excuses u want. but it won't change the fact that they will be in the top 3 in district 20-4a. and i'm not saying that because i'm from vidor i'm saying it because they have a lot of talent back this year and a lot of heart and all i ever hear them talking about is how there going to beat yall even worse than they did this past season. but u really need to grow up and give them the respect they deserve.

vidor has about 10 or 12 2 year starters coming back and all but 2 starters from last season back. they have a lot of experience coming back.

man ur always talkin bad about vidor but they beat yall last year. so grow some and say what u really wanna say. "they will be good this year"

You've got to feel for Vidor. It seems like every year they are mentioned as a dark horse candidate for the playoffs, only to end up a bride's maid. u won't be saying that this season. i can guarantee u that one.

No kidding. When someone predicts the same thing year after year and it finally happens (if ever), then the person will say, "See, I told you so". ;D yea thats just it.half of the ppl that get on here don't know diddly squat about football.and i know for a fact that vidor will be the team to beat this next season.and i will go ahead and say it now "i told ya so" yea its a lill soon for it but i am 100% pasotive that vidor will be great next year.

vidor has every person comeing back but 8 seniors.and nothing against all of them but their were really only 2 that are gone now that really are gunna hurt them.and that is chris-QB and devin-safty.their OL was dominant this year with the ground and pound offense.and there running backs are getting faster.and the deffense is gunna be the same as it normally is "good".

srry raidernation but i have to say that i'm pretty sure that ur just mad that vidor beat yall this past season and they will improve even more this next season.these boys have been working hard and have more heart than the kids from vidor the past few years.and u can say vidor will be vidor all u want but u won't be saying that once the season starts. and from my understanding they will be the team to beat in district 20-4a this season.so u may want to rethink ur rankes there. 8) ;D 8) ;D 8)
