Did you even read my post? I agreed on passing a test beyond a certain age. The situation that you described with you grandmother happens to lots of young folks as well. I'm simply saying no one should have their license taken away based simply on age, no one will convince me otherwise. I had a grandfather that drove into his 90s and never had any problems, could drive better than a lot of these young folks I see that can't seem to put their phone down.

No thanks đŹ

I would agree with this as well, they have to be safe on the road, even though there are plenty of young terrible drivers out there. Say you have an 80 year old man or woman and they have all their facilities and maybe they have no one looking in on them, they do all their shopping, errands, etc. I can't imaging taking their license simply based on age, you may as well put a gun to their head if you take their only means of transportation and freedom. Minimum age is a no brainer. By the way, minimum age for congressman is 25 and 30 for Senator.

[Hidden Content] From the article: President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. has plenty of people to thank for his election win over incumbent President Donald Trump. But voting data shows he should be especially grateful for the support of young votersâin particular, young voters of color. Nationwide, 61 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds voted for Biden, while 36 percent voted for Trump, according to analysis from the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), the non-partisan research center on youth engagement at Tufts Universityâs Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life. Thatâs higher than the level of youth support Hillary Clinton received from young voters in 2016. About half of eligible 18- to 29-year-olds voted, and CIRCLE projects that could rise to 56 percent when all votes are counted. Can't blame this on boomers either, they don't vote based on their little feelings.

[Hidden Content] From the article: By the numbers: 19% of millennials and 12% of Gen Z said they thought the Communist Manifesto "better guarantees freedom and equality for all" than the Declaration of Independence. That's compared to just 2% of baby boomers and 5% of Gen X. Just 7% of boomers said they had at least a "somewhat favorable" view of communism â compared to more than a third of millennials and more than a quarter of Gen Z. Phew, can't make this stuff up...can't blame this thinking on boomers either.

Apparently it happened to 80 million plusâŚyourself included. Many of us knew better.

Can't agree with this one. You can't simply choose an age that you think someone may no longer be competent for a job...there's no set age for mental degradation and you could be throwing out a lot of wisdom while at the same time having "young and qualified" fools in office that have no better qualification than simply age. We already have a mechanism in place to take care of situations like Biden, the Republicans just simply won't apply it as the Democrats tried (complete circus) on Trump.

Typical, turn it around so you don't have to defend what you said...like I said, sad little pathetic world.
-
I took away EXACTLY what you said, at least be man enough to stand behind what you say.
-
You don't leech on social security, genius...you've already paid for it. Sad thing is, it will be gone for you because of your party.
-
Wow, calling brave men and women that VOLUNTEER to serve their great country out of a sense of duty and patriotism brainwashed...sad world you live in.

People choose strange champions these days.

[Hidden Content] So will this make the public safer? Sorry your house is burning down, we'll try to get someone over...not to worry, they'll be vaccinated.

Wow, that could have turned out a lot worse than it did.

I donât think they did anything illegal, I simply think the leeway given to law enforcement to do this is wrong and shouldnât be allowed. How much money I choose to travel with is my business and I shouldnât have to explain the why to anyone. This no doubt gets abused, Jeff Davis Parish, LA comes to mind.
