He was fine in 88...I’m sure to the wimpy dems he did seem crazy. Proud of his country? How dare he? Must be crazy.

Wrong....again. I oppose lots of things that I wouldn’t push on anyone. Don’t want it happening to me. -

I do, because it doesn’t even compare. The Bible in Hebrew translates as Thou shall not murder, translated, thou shall not take an innocent life. I guess conservative pro-lifers should give up on trying to save unborn lives just to get more votes, huh. Sounds likely a great plan for everyone, except they baby. -
Your income will double under Biden if the minimum wage goes to $15.

So those decent moral people vote in a party that is ok with snuffing out the lives of our most innocent. Makes sense. Stop calling yourself a conservative, nobody’s buying it but big girl and donkey kong. -
[Hidden Content] This is only U-Haul stats but found it interesting...will probably continue to trend this way. From the article: U-Haul customers made Texas and Florida their top two destinations from 2016-19. Texas had the largest net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks for three consecutive years before Florida flipped the order and became No. 1 last year. Texas is second for growth, and Florida third, for 2020. California ranks last by a wide margin, supplanting Illinois as the state with the greatest net loss of U-Haul trucks. California has ranked 48th or lower since 2016. Illinois has been 49th or 50th since 2015, when U-Haul began ranking states based on annual net gain.

Sometimes the left screws up and says what they want to do out loud, it's getting to be more regular these days.

[Hidden Content] From the article: "We are going to have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem," Alex Stamos, a former Facebook chief security officer, told CNN's Stelter. "These companies have freedom of speech, but I'm not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and such bringing them into tens of millions of homes." In a brazen call for censorship, Stamos echoed CNN demand conservative voices and news outlets be blacklisted and closed out of cable television and the Internet. "We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences," Stamos said. "There are people on YouTube that have larger daytime audiences than CNN." Intentions can't get any clearer than this. cnn accusing someone of fake news, that's rich.

The market should determine who should "pony up". Wal-Mart employs 1.5 million employees in the US and a stocker or cashier starts out at about $9 and say they are working 30 hours a week and 1 million of the 1.5 million folks employed fall into this category. 1 million X 30 hours X $6 more would come out to $180,000,000 added to salaries. What would happen is (1) employees would lose jobs or (2) the cheap milk and eggs you talk about would go up or more likely, Wal-Mart would negotiate for a lower price for the dairy and poultry producers (plug in any industry here) to keep the milk and eggs cheap, therefore, hurting their business. Let the market decide rather than pull a number out of the air because someone thinks a minimum wage job should support a family, it should not.
-
So how would you manage that? Would the gov decide who can pay $15 an hour without hurting the bottom line? An average McDonalds has around 70 employees. If you double the salaries by going to $15 you will cause lots of kids to lose their jobs that aren’t trying to support a family. That’s who the minimum wage jobs are for. $15 minimum wage is a horrible idea for any business.
