Congressional Hearings on Slavery Reparations Start Today
LumRaiderFan replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
Ridiculous...but it's $heila Jackson Lee, I would expect nothing else. -
They start screaming "stop the violence" when they get challenged (more accurately, their butts kicked)...smh. And notice they throw out the woman card when one of the mask wearing women gets popped. Losers

How long will you last this time?

[Hidden Content] From the article: As the Star Tribune noted, the state's Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board reported that Omar and her husband filed joint tax returns while she was married to another man. Minnesota law only allows spouses to file jointly in civil marriages whereas Omar filed with a man with whom she was only married in "faith tradition." "It is even more disturbing, therefore, to learn that among the board’s latest findings ... Omar, for two years running, filed joint tax returns with a man she was living with but not legally married to. Complicating matters further, she was legally married to another man at the time," the editorial read.

[Hidden Content] More from the religion of peace, from their holy book, no less. From the article: According to the video, the imam tells the class at the Az-Zahraa Islamic Center in Detroit that when the Quran references such a physical act toward one’s wife, it is a "beating" that should be conducted without causing pain or any red markings; but as a reminder to the woman that she “misbehaved in cases when words (of admonishment) do not make her change her ways.” “It is just like when your child reaches to touch the electrical socket or a fire, what do you do? You go like that,” Sheraa explained. “It is just like when your child picks up something dangerous and is about to eat it. You hit his hand like that as a reminder. That is what ‘beating’ means.”

[Hidden Content] From the article: Joe Morrissey, a former state legislator, defeated incumbent senator Rosalyn Dance by over 10 points despite Gov. Ralph Northam endorsing her in the final weekend of the campaign. His victory in the primary comes even though he was sentenced four years ago and jailed over a scandal involving a minor. He was in his fifties at the time while the minor was 17 years old. She worked at his law office. Despite denying the wrongdoing, he pleaded guilty in 2015 to a misdemeanor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and admitted that prosecutors had enough evidence for a conviction. The Democrat spent six months in jail for the crime but managed to continue serving in the state legislature during the sentence.

[Hidden Content] From the article: He called Trump a “threat to our core values,” a “threat to our standing in the world” and a “genuine threat to American democracy.” He declared that “this is really dangerous stuff” and that “four years of Donald Trump will be viewed as an aberration in American history and around the world.” I, for one, really hope he is the Democrat's candidate. The debates will be lots of fun.

Good thing he ignores those that tell him this is not how we do things here, both Democrats and Republicans.

Art Briles returns to Texas High School Football
LumRaiderFan replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Football
Explain his greatness...will he be great at building character for young high school men? Is that what he will be great at? Will he be great at getting to the bottom of a tough situation one of his star athletes gets caught up in? Just trying to figure out what will make him a great high school coach. -
Remember all the talk about how Mueller was above reproach...what a laugh. He is the epitome of a swamp dweller.

Art Briles returns to Texas High School Football

[Hidden Content] From the article: “We spent a lot of time talking to people who know Art very well, and who also were very familiar with the situations that were taking place at Baylor,” McCullough said. “We read through the reports, we looked at the findings...that it was not a football issue, that it was an organizational issue for Baylor itself, and we believe that Art was a man who, unfortunately, was caused to take the fall for that.” smh -
Thank you to the families that have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms and thank you to all who have served and those that are serving. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
