  1. No difference between a dead child and a child separated from parents because they broke the law??? Really?? Stop preaching to us, Kounzer, because your doctine is flawed.
  2. Why in hell is Planned Parenthood allowed to make political donations, since they are receiving taxpayer money? That sounds kinda illegal.
  3. I certainly wouldn't, and that's where I would hope our individual rights would trump all and, if necessary bring the feds in to preserve them, as they did when some southern states were trampling the rights of minorities.

  5. My understanding is that the SC will decide a case based on the Constitution. They have no power to legislate from the bench and decide themselves how much power will be given to the states on a particular case. A case could be brought before them that stipulates this split between state and federal authority, but I don't think the SC can simply make that decision on their own. Maybe we're saying the same thing two different ways and I'm no lawyer and may have this all wrong. I would be interested to hear a lawyer's perspective on this. TXHoops, your thoughts?
  6. Sometimes that’s all we got...but it’s enough. Good, and accurate, post.
  7. Agree on all points...Republicans are cowards on this issue and there are very few that make it a priority. Some say, we as Republicans don't want to dictate social issues to others. This is not a simply a social issue to me, it is an attack on the sanctity of life...the most innocent of life. Everyone is up in arms over the latest legislation from Kathy Tran, as they should be, but what is hypocritical about the "pro-life" Republican lawmakers to me is, why haven't you been up in arms about this issue all along? Tran's bill simply put a more graphic face on abortion, the result is still the same. It's sad that so-called pro-life Republicans are more concerned with losing moderate votes than they are about meeting this issue head on.
  8. No, I disagreed because it is incorrect.
  9. No, that’s not what you said which is why I disagreed.
  10. Well said, I never even imagined we would be considering something like this. I agree that it won’t get enough support NOW, but it will be effective to move that line a little further in the sand. It’s a shame all Democrats don’t have your mindset, Hoops...or Republicans mine, of course.

  12. Agree 100%
  13. The SC doesn't have the authority to give more leeway to the states. I do agree states should handle abortion...murder is a state crime.
  14. [Hidden Content] ....and more.
  15. Agree, thank you for pointing out that these Democrat global warming alarmists are false prophets.
  16. [Hidden Content] Unbelievable...these are the folks making policy. From the article: A Democratic co-sponsor of a controversial Virginia bill that would repeal restrictions on third-trimester abortions is apologizing to her constituents for supporting the legislation, saying she didn’t read the bill or know how far it went.
  17. [Hidden Content] Why would you want input from these two clowns on judge selection? If you want to MAGA, don't take advice from Dems.
  18. [Hidden Content] Can't make this stuff up...it is truly a mental disorder. From the article: The Democratic Virginia delegate who has recently come under fire for sponsoring a bill in the Virginia House of Delegates that would allow the termination of a pregnancy up to 40 weeks old, is also the chief patron of a bill that would protect the lives of “fall cankerworms” during certain months. Democratic Virginia Del. Kathy Tran introduced “House Bill No. 2495 – Fall cankerworm; spraying prohibited during certain months” on Jan. 9, the same day as “House Bill No. 2491 — Abortion; eliminate certain requirements.”
  19. lol...a progressive burger system...just wait.
  20. I don’t disagree with these common sense ideas, only problem is it would take an act of Congress, literally, to enforce it if the SCJ won’t or can’t budge.
  21. [Hidden Content] RADICAL ISLAM IN THE HOUSE!
  22. That’s a good thing. [Hidden Content]
  23. I guess the SC may have to operate one vote short...works for me.
  24. You won’t see the nationalization of healthcare providers, you’ll see them slowly eliminated on the way to single payer. This is no secret, they are saying this out loud. I’m not concerned with how you think...the Democrats I am referring to are the ones pushing these radical agendas that actually make policy.
  25. You killed any discussion with facts.
