Agree 100%, but I don’t think that’s the goal of DOGE, but I’m sure some instances of fraud rather than incompetence will lead to consequences.

I think their intent is to make the government more efficient, not looking for reasons to persecute an administration. I would think they are only concerned with the current budget of the organizations they are looking into.

There is no answer here that the US and Russia will be happy with. Putin has stated his intentions in the past and it’s not just to acquire a little more land. Look into multi polar order. In his view, Ukraine wouldn’t have a seat at the table to negotiate their own future, it would be decided by the big players, often through military means. Trump is a great deal maker but I’m not convinced he can successfully negotiate with crazy. What’s the option if Putin keeps pushing?
