Anyone that hunts, shoots, owns a gun or simply cares about adhering to the Constitution needs to join the NRA. Google NRA-ILA if you want to see what they are battling daily with what I think are very inexpensive membership dues. OK...off my soapbox.

[Hidden Content] I may have to watch more lefty networks for a while...should be amusing.

Pudge gets the call
LumRaiderFan replied to Ty Cobb's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
Most would give Bench the nod for sure if you were talking about catching and hitting (even though Pudge was a good hitter). If you were talking purely catching, many would give that to Pudge...I'm quite sure the opposing baserunners would. -
Someone has to make healthcare affordable.

All it would take is a very simple google to see legislation that Obama has proposed (multiple years) for "safer" gun laws...I guess that's asking too much.

You guys on the left keep focusing on the reporting source rather than the actual events (as in the email scandal). It's working out great for you us.

You just can't fix stupid...I've heard that used out of context lately, but in this case, it's very accurate.

[Hidden Content] From the article: You urged Alberta to embrace renewable energy. We agree. Developing renewables is one of the best ways to reduce our environmental footprint. Just FYI, though, the companies who run those mines you flew over? They're the ones actually building renewable energy. Suncor, the single largest synthetic crude oil producer in Alberta’s oil sands, operates five wind farms in Canada - with plans to build two more - generating a total of nearly 200 megawatts. Enbridge, a pipeline company and proponent for the Line 3 project, just invested $200 million in a 103 megawatt wind farm. The company is now invested in nearly 2,200 megawatts of renewable power generation, enough to supply electricity to about 700,000 Canadian homes. I presume none of this was brought to your attention during your Alberta visit. That's fine, though - we love getting the chance to talk about it.

I can agree that he should ignore much of what is thrown at him, but it's funny you never called out Obama for his incredibly thin skin.

Hope someone takes him golfing to minimize the damage.

No, it's not...you can't personally interview eyewitnesses to verify all stories...come on. If you think a story is false...YOU prove it. As for teaching evolution, good for them...it's a THEORY. If you choose to believe it, fine, just don't push it on those that don't. As CraigS pointed out, it's in the same ballpark as "man-made" global warming. And as for "hit piece" ...so what. Some actions deserved to be targeted and "hit". Was it a hit piece when they reported what Trump and Billy Bush said...absolutely. Was it true...absolutely.

lol...it is an original...never heard that adder.

Quite an evaluation of a news source with a sample of one, read without your full attention. But that really is beside the point...way too much is made about the source on here IMO...if someone doesn't believe the article, either dismiss it or prove it wrong, rather than simply saying it's poorly written and a questionable source without anything to back it up. If we all took that approach, there would never be any debate...simply say the source was garbage. And I'll re-ask my question.. What do southern states teach that equates to what is listed in the article? Conservative view points...really?
-
Good deal...well deserved.

What do southern states teach that equates to what is listed in the article? And what makes Breitbart a questionable news site? I'm asking if you have examples that makes them questionable...you seem to imply that being ultra-conservative makes them "questionable". I think it tends to make them more accurate.
-
Good question...apparently he is taking it from an "unobligated" (slush) fund. That's what I gather from the article, anyway.

Hopefully lower taxes, both private and corporate, which will mean more jobs.
