The "Gift Trust Agreement" the Cheney's signed two days before he took office turns over power of attorney to a trust administrator to sell the options at some future time and to give the after-tax profits to three charities. The agreement specifies that 40% will go to the University of Wyoming (Cheney's home state), 40% will go to George Washington University's medical faculty to be used for tax-exempt charitable purposes, and 20% will go to Capital Partners for Education , a charity that provides financial aid for low-income students in Washington, DC to attend private and religious schools. The agreement states that it is "irrevocable and may not be terminated, waived or amended," so the Cheney's can't take back their options later.

You keep referring to Hannity as Fox news...he is a commentator with an opinion. You do realize Fox has hard news on the internet and cable right. Hannity is no more Fox News than Al Sharpton or Rachel Maddow are MSNBC news (although they are close) Stop watching Hannity and read the news.

No liberal would ever want to compare Fox to the other networks as far as truthfulness. Anyone that wants to honestly compare can look at the Media Research Center. Our only quibble with Hoyer is his use of the word "released." That could be interpreted to mean that under Bush, 500-plus detainees left the center and were immediately freed. But the Pentagon says there is a difference between a release and a transfer to another country. The vast majority of detainees leave Gitmo under a transfer, which means they are transported to another country that places them under some type of restrictions. Some are incarcerated in those countries because of criminal charges, while others face monitoring or travel limitations.

Yes it was...the high tech PRIVATE industry was exploding. Amazing what happens when gov stays out of the way. Now if Clinton would have had things go his way, we would have have a Clintoncare disaster to deal with like the Obamacare disaster we have now. Also, one of his greatest claims, welfare reform, was the work of the new Republican congress led by Newt Gingrich, which Clinton was dragged into which he now claims as his. One more thing, you can save a lot of money by ignoring attacks on the US and not spending money to defend yourself...he chose to do that and soon after he left, Bush had to start cleaning up his mess.

No he wasn't...but this is country gave him the opportunity to use his talent to accumulate that kind of wealth and influence. Stevenash asked a good question...why was he proud enough to fight in the Olympics for this oppressive country AND carry the torch in 2012 but not fight for them when drafted? He was a great boxer, probably the greatest, but he was also a draft dodger...that was the original question posed in the thread and that's my opinion on the matter.

Read the whole story...Trump feels there could be a conflict of interest due to his previous political opinions...mainly on immigration...and he's probably right. I'm no Trump fan and he says some dumb stuff, but doesn't come across as racist.
