  1. lol...didn't like my answer? Oh well...good debate.
  2. Ding, Ding, Ding...that was the intent of the whole thread...smh.
  3. Nope...no one HAS to live by my religion...you don't do you? Of course if you had your way, Christians would HAVE to participate in activities they don't agree with. And there is no science in your opinion.
  4. lol...me too. WE1 not much of a debater.
  5. OK, here we go...this is what I believe and why. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin...just one of many I agree, but a sin. It would make no sense to me for God to create someone that was born to live a life of sin by design...that's why I believe it to be a lifestyle choice and not genetic. So there it is...don't hate anyone, but I think someone should have the freedom to not do anything (such as cater a gay wedding) that goes against their religious beliefs. That's what I believe and why.
  6. lol...good luck.
  7. Dumb comment...but give it a try, see how it works out for you.
  8. This happens quite often. So let me get this straight...if someone owns a business, should they be forced (or face legal consequences) if they don't sell to someone if they feel it is against their religious beliefs. Opinions aside about whether anyone agrees with it, are they allowed to refuse service based on that. Not directing just at you Bobcat...for anyone to answer. I don't think I would under most circumstances, but if I had a problem with it, I should be able to...jmo.
  9. Maybe if adulterers, drunks, porn addicts and divorcees weren't so in your face as REBgp put it, and didn't demand you accept and put a stamp of approval on homosexuality, you wouldn't see such a movement from Christians. You are confusing who is pushing the agenda.
  10. Agree, if you are going to do this, explain why...actually that would be what you should do as a Christian. No bashing, just explain it...this is what I believe, and why.
  11. Would He cater a full blown gay wedding...doubt it. Some folks are uncomfortable doing this, they are not hiding behind their religion. If they choose not to participate, that should be their right, plain and simple.
  12. And if they don't, what are the consequences...that is the question.
  13. Agree, that's my point. My opinion is my opinion...that's it. It doesn't infringe on anyone's rights.
  14. There's that poor comparison so often used by progressives...nothing to do with one another. So let the owners make this bad decision not to serve gays if they so choose...if the overwhelming number of folks disagree with that point of view like so many insist they will, problem solved, they are out of business. like Chic-fil-A
  15. 2 (both in my family) what does that have to do with anything? If I interviewed 1000 men that say they were born preferring the company of young men, would you buy it? Christian's beliefs about homosexuality is based upon the Bible, not the opinions of homosexuals.
  16. Bottom line is this...I couldn't care less what you or westend or anyone else thinks about whether gays are born that way or not and I'm sure you don't care what I think about it. My only concern is that liberals try to use this born that way theory to insist someone's rights are infringed on them when they don't get a cake baked for them by someone that doesn't want to because of their religious beliefs...and the sueing begins. Do you agree they should have to?
  17. I'm sure I know just as much about it as you do...so why don't you stop. The only difference is my opinion carries no legislation that says someone must do something that goes against their beliefs. I am GUESSING that your liberal progressive opinion would.
  18. You would guess, guess being the key word. So on the basis of a guess, progressives want to force laws on folks. I, for one, am pleased to see the pushback...folks have rights to their religious beliefs.
  19. Not sure...how do you explain homosexuals that go straight?
  20. Sure they would...happens all the time.
