  1. Simply being legal points the moral compass of many...sad.
  2. Socialism is for the people...not the socialist.
  3. That was not the point of the article...the point of the article is the hypocrisy that when someone kills a baby in the womb by stomping on them, they are charged with murder. When a child is killed in the womb by a doctor in the case of abortion, that is called a "choice" and is acceptable in society. The only person saying this dirtbag should get off because of this parallel is the sleazebag lawyer. The result, however, is the same and cannot be denied...a dead child. One is OK, the other is not. Neither is OK. You don't have to explain to me that this is the law of the land...I get it...I just know it is wrong.
  4. Exactly right...abortion is murder, and the US has put a stamp of approval on it. Now we are funding groups that profit from selling body parts of these murdered children and many are apathetic to this news. But hey, the SC says it's legal, so hush up and just deal with it.
  5. lol...this is true.
  6. Great news...I hope very little gets done on the federal level. Gridlock is good.
  7. Don't listen to what they say...pay attention to what they do. Too many folks don't pay attention until the debates and are swayed simply by words. That's how Obama fooled so many folks.
  8. Yep
  9. Correct, and they know this works with folks...too many folks are looking for what the fed gov can do for them. They are looking for a candidate to say what they can do for them to win them over. It is a turn off for many folks to hear that a candidate will do everything in their power to make the fed gov as insignificant in their lives as possible...lower taxes, smaller gov is considered radical.
  10. From Wikipedia: In a video, He has said that his "father is a Shiite Muslim", and that he "grew up with Muslim beliefs, where do you think all my views come from from?, where do think my ideas about patriarchy and masculinity come from?" and "I'm introducing traditional Islamic values". He has stated that "All the views that I present on sex, woman, and men are basically a light version of Islam...what you can find in the Koran...of what has been taught from the prophet Muhammed."
  11. But they are not the only party that can claim diversity. Many of the votes they get that get minority candidates elected are because they successfully sell the idea that the Republicans don't care about minorities...hogwash. Then the Democrats turn around and implement liberal progressive policies that are destructive to people, cities, states and will eventually destroy this country...and many of the minorities are victims of these policies. Not my opinion, fact...just look at any city/state that has been ruled by Dems for a length of time and you'll see the proof.
  12. From the article: There was an increase in diversity among Republicans in Congress, with more GOP minorities and women elected on November 4, 2014. My point exactly...the Dems have no claim to be the ONLY party of diversity.
  13. When you look at the candidates on both sides, I wonder how the Dems can still claim to be the party of diversity?
  14. Good debate...I didn't miss the circus like atmosphere we've seen in the earlier ones.
  15. Prayers and strength for the family.
  16. Not sure...but I would be willing to give it a shot!
  17. I will believe the GOP is conservative when they start proposing (and making if in the majority) actual cuts to entitlement programs and eliminating programs completely. And I mean real cuts, not the games they play by increasing a program by 5% when it was originally supposed to be increased by 10% and turn around and announce the program was cut by 5%.
  18. Not very
  19. More obamanomics [Hidden Content]
  20. [Hidden Content] From the article: Al Jazeera America, which went on the air in 2013 -- and is partly funded by the ruling family of Qatar -- announced Wednesday it is shutting down at the end of April, citing the "economic landscape of the media environment." ...in other words, nobody is watching us.
  21. [Hidden Content] From the article: “Any action directed at opposing teams or their spectators with the intent to taunt, disrespect, distract or entice an unsporting behavior in response is not acceptable sportsmanship,” the WIAA wrote in an email obtained by the Post-Crescent. “Student groups, school administrators and event managers should take immediate steps to correct this unsporting behavior.” SMH
