  If you had a group take on something like this for the money only...it would be a disaster.   Leave the Catholic Church to their business and allow them to not provide these "services" that go against their beliefs.

  We must define low information differently...when I say low information I mean just that, that someone makes their political decisions based on little or no information.   It doesn't mean they are dumb, just that they don't bother with looking into a policy or candidate to make a decision based on information...and they are on both sides...and many are very intelligent.   Back on topic.   :)

  The low information voters won't read this...they sail through life without a clue about what's going on around them...only way they can be incited is for the cable to go out.

Compassion is very expensive...especially when it's mandated.

The federal gov should not own and manage large tracts of land...if it is public land, it should belong to the states....other than missile bases and other strategic purposes, but that's it.   When the fed gov manages the land, Congress determines if and when oil exploration is approved as well as how much timber is harvested from National Forests...and they do a poor job at both...as they do with most programs.

I believe his stance was take drug enforcement laws away at the federal level...let the states make and enforce their own drug laws.

Why don't we cut out what isn't in the Constitution and THEN start worrying about cutting back on what actually is?

  Republicans have traditionally been the party of lower taxes and less entitlements (although there are more and more big spender Republicans now) and the Democrats have been the party of higher taxes and more entitlements.   The Democrats have pushed stricter gun control from time to time when the political atmosphere was right.   So, in my opinion, one party is better than the other...of course, you can find plenty of folks that think the Democrats are "better".
