  1. I believe this is Professor Enlightenment and a couple of other names that I can't recall.
  2.   Not what I'm saying at all...there is no particular way anyone HAS to feel about issues, but at least research and form an opinion about them.   Moderates seem to have no strong opinion about many issues (or don't care) and can be easily swayed.   If someone goes into the debates and has no clue as to what a candidate is all about and will be persuaded by a talking point or two, I call that a low information voter.   Many call that an enlightened moderate.
  3. He probably considers Cliven Bundy more of a threat than Al Qaeda.
  4. Not evading the question...just can't think of anything we have said that would make someone think we hate this country. You want to join in then make yourself useful and provide examples.
  5. Obama has said he wants to fundamentally transform this great nation...I think you should probably be asking the question of him rather than me, nash and smitty.
  6.   No, it's really not a serious question.     I'll bite though...what is is that we have said that makes you think we hate our country?
  7.   I agree with that and could say the same thing...I consider myself a conservative rather than simply a Republican.   The Republicans do a lot of things I disagree with but they are still the best option for me come voting time.   I would think a liberal with strong beliefs like yourself would be as frustrated with moderates that are swayed by the latest sound bite as any conservative with strong beliefs...after all, these "moderates" are the game changers.
  8.   The Republicans have been beaten the last two elections by a very unqualified candidate by choosing two moderates and you are suggesting we continue down that road?   Do you read what you type?
  9.   Amen...I have never understood why so many folks have no problem with folks like Jack$on and $harpton calling themselves "Reverend" when they take this stance on these issues.   The church of liberalism trumps all else to them I suppose.
  10. The low information gulpers will gobble this up. This is proof to them that she really does feel their pain.
  11.   Couldn't agree more...folks can argue all day long about whether we should have gone in or not...can't change that, we went in.   What is happening in Iraq is all on Obama...this is his mess and a result of his failure as a leader.
  12. [Hidden Content]
  13. I guess they haven't bought into the "you exist only to provide jobs and don't worry about profit" philosophy.
  14. And who could blame them?
  15. Nothing fishy about this.   [Hidden Content]
  16.   This isn't about an R or D thing.   There are lots of things that the Republicans do that i disagree with...only problem is the alternative at the ballot box is a Democrat.
  17.   No, moderate is not a good thing.   Moderates don't have a strong opinion about issues because they either don't know anything about issues or they don't care.   Neither one is good because they vote just like the those that actually do have an opinion.
  18. Very unlikely ratio, wouldn't you agree? They were obviously targeting conservative groups...very obvious to me anyway.
  19. If I was a terrorist I would much rather deal with Obama's wrath than Bush's wrath any day.
  20. So Westend, you are saying that the IRS targeted left and right groups equally...no bias at all in the investigations?
  21. Moderate = I don't pay attention enough to form an opinion so I call myself moderate to appear enlightened. I also don't make up my mind on a candidate until the debates because I didn't bother to actually research their history so I can be swayed by smooth talking.
  22. What an"enlightened" response.
  23. Good question... and we still have no answer. Many would like to simply dismiss Benghazi and move on.
  24.   Try making a case that defends his policies when they are criticized...you are obviously a fan of the President.   Show us why you think the things he does makes sense and are good for the country.
