​Bottom line is that if you have one (or preferably more) competent and trained teachers, administrators and/or on campus security carrying firearms, the kids are safer, period. Plus, there is an immediate response when a threat shows up. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I just don't see the down side.

The problem is that if someone like Obama or Clinton are in office, they will subsidize this so NY can appear to be the poster boy of success for single payer. I am all for any state doing what they want (it's Constitutional) but if it fails, I don't want to pay for it through my fed taxes.
