1. That was a really fun game to watch.  Jalali's starts the game with a triple.  His next at bat.....homer.  Plus two outstanding catches in center field.  PNG crowd was LOUD the whole game!  Great win Indians!!!!
2. I got to the PNG vs Willis game 1  1/2hrs. early thinking that would be plenty of time.  I had to search to find a parking spot on the PNG side. Pic of Willis side 1  1/2 hrs. before the game. 3.
I went checkout the indians this morning. :-X ;D
And what did "The Goat" see at The Reservation?
4. I'm assuming none of this rain is falling on the construction site. Any picture updates on the whole facility?
5. From the P.A. News: June 26, 2010 PN-G, Southeast Texas benefit from Phillips Bob West column for Sunday, June 27 Bob West The Port Arthur News Like Thomas Jefferson alums and coaches did with Jimmy Johnson in the 1990s, Port Neches-Groves is cashing in some of the perks of being the high school of the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Wade Phillips, who is in town with wife Laurie for the 45th reunion of the PN-G class of 1965, dropped by Indian Stadium Friday morning for a tour of the new facilities from Brandon Faircloth, then taped a video welcome to fans that will be played at 2010 home games.  Last week, Faircloth and his coaching staff were Phillips’ guests at the Cowboys minicamp, including the day their workout was held at JerryWorld. “You would be hard pressed to meet a nicer guy,” said Faircloth, echoing the way most Southeast Texans feel about Bum Phillips’ one-time quarterback at PN-G . . . Along those good-guy lines, Genie and I  had  opportunity to have dinner with Wade and Laurie Thursday night at Cheddars, and saw him gracefully handle a non-stop stream of autograph requests. Many celebrities don’t like to be approached while they are eating, but Wade was unflappable and made everybody who came up to him feel welcome and at ease. I’m kicking myself for not keeping count, but I’m guessing he signed a minimum of two dozen autographs and had his picture taken with a dozen or more fans. By the way, you won’t be seeing as much of Wade on the sidelines this season. He’s dropped about 30 pounds and will soon be seen in a TV commercial endorsing the product that led to the weight loss . . . To top off his quickie Southeast Texas visit, Phillips stopped by the football camp being run Jamaal Charles and Danny Gorrer on both Friday and Saturday, then spent Saturday afternoon at Beaumont Country with Bud Isakson, David Ess, Jonathan Juhon and W.L. Pate Jr. Issakson bid $1,000 at the recent Babe Zaharias golf tournament auction for a foursome to play golf with the Cowboys coach.
6. A great crowd for the first ever S.E. Texas All-Star Classic. [IMG][Hidden Content]]
7. I drove by Saturday at 4:30 and they were already selling tickets and people in the stands.
8. Ticket prices will be the same at the gate.  I heard Chick-fil-A will do the concessions.
9. Note the scoreboards size compared to the width of the goal post uprights.  Here is Memorials scoreboard and it is much closer to the goal post than PNG's. [IMG][Hidden Content]] Now the PNG scoreboard which is way behind the goal post.....actually outside of the track oval. [IMG][Hidden Content]] That is one awesome looking field.  Glad to see a neighbor getting Field Turf.
10. Friday field turf installation begins. [IMG][Hidden Content]]

12. The truck carrying the turf arrived today (Thursday).
13. WOW!!!!    What a great turnaround for the Bulldogs.  Congrats.
14. This is the crowd. The underside of the stadium was full of people in the concession lines.
15. This is what The New Reservation looked like for the Crosby game. A packed home side.
16. FYI During a recent meeting, Coach Faircloth said the small parking lot by the field house was for handicapped and media parking. Enjoy the experience BH fans. The view the from the visitors side will be awesome.
17. I feel PN-G will win......but not by those margins. There is no reason to show all our cards yet.....this is not district. Perform to our best ability.....get a lead.....bring in others to get more experience.
18. The scrimmage times are now correct on the sign at the school. It now shows the Fire It Up Pep Rally at 8:00 p.m. Sounds better.
19. Dang! ! ! Thanks coop!
20. I know this is getting old but here we go again. Put on your neck brace. The last scrimmage info I got from inside PNG's front offices. This update is from Coach Faircloth. NEW NEW TIME FOR VARSITY SCRIMMAGE AGAINST MEMORIAL! 21. NEW TIME FOR VARSITY SCRIMMAGE AGAINST MEMORIAL! Friday Aug. 21 no change for Fresh. 3:00 p.m. no change for JV 4:30 p.m. Varsity was 5:30 p.m. now 6:30 p.m. Fire It Up Pep Rally still at 9:00 p.m. I saw that on the sign in front of the school. I'm just a little surprised it's still shown as the old time on the PNGISD site. The concession stands should be open for all games but they may only sell drinks. If that info changes, I will pass it on.

23. Practice at The Reservation at 6:00 a.m. is awesome. This second day was more intense. That 2nd session today from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. was HOT!
24. I agree with the last post. Just like spring. The kids know the drill. This was day 1 and plays were signaled in from the sidelines. Here is a shot from the practice.
