I have noticed many teams this year using a talented team and a full court press to humiliate less talented teams. I don't see the usefullness of repeatedly stealing the ball with your your press. Why not use that time to improve your 1/2 court defense and work on fundamentals. Also, running up a score on a 7th grade team is not something to be proud of. How about working on your offense or even a delay game. I see this happening more and more. To me, this encourages unsportsmanlike conduct and increases the likelihood of someone getting hurt due to frustration. I thought Jr. High sports were to teach the fundamentals of the game, not to boost the ego of an arogant coach. Am I wrong?

Is what.... if you are trying to sound unintelligent you are doing a fabulous job! I am a coach and I find my job very useful in teaching kids about life in the real world. No, I am not going to reach every kid, but if I get through to at least one I have made a difference. Sounds like you are just trying to pick a fight. Too bad you never had a good teacher or coach to look up to!

Coach Sims is a great coach, but she also has an assistant who was a great head coach at one time. Janet Davis is an awesome coach. She took LCM to the playoffs as well as Memorial.

The floor is TERRIBLE and I spoke to the powers that be about it already. I am scared someone is going to be seriously hurt on that floor.

Don't know why they quit, but I do know that 5 quit and at least 3 more are talking about quiting.
