Orangefield definitely has high energy. Hope it continues into the 2nd half.

Still looking forward to this game. Will gauge how much improvement Orangefield has made since the lost to “cheating” BC (I joke). I’ve been really impressed with the running of #17 coming in for #2. The O-Line is the big story for Orangefield. Pulling for an upset.

They haven’t played EC so when they do either Anahuac or Orangefield will be top seed then that may be for District.

Orangefield faces off with Anahuac for perhaps the District Title. I think both offense are clicking. Best Defense wins.

Honestly I think Orangefield gave them the Ole 9 in the box & blitz every gap just like teams did to them for so many years.

Well, things went south on the kickoff. They let the kick off go & Hardin thought it was going into the endzone for a touch back but the ball stoppped one the first yard line & Orangefield recovered the ball.

No I’m serious, according to some ole Orangefield people, Wing/Slot T is unbeatable & the proof is in the pudding Orangefield ran it for 14 years & their record was .500.

Hardin Hornets come in with a record of 4-0 to battle the Orangefield Bobcats with a record of 2-2. It’s homecoming night for the Bobcats so anything can happen.

Don’t forget the big difference in my opinion. BC has 33 Sr’s. That’s the difference between last 2 years versus this years success.

You are correct. According to the Orangefield ole timers, Orangefield hadn’t had a running QB since Huckaby son which was pre 2008 & Evans 2011. & doesn’t the wing T need there #1 threat to be the QB?

I’ll be interested in reading the weeks topic of BC vs Lumberton. two of the most inflated egos in Southeast Texas with nothing really to brag about. At least PNG & PA have something to boost but still keep it low key.

It’s all good. Even though BC is exactly twice as big (enrollment) as O, you never know when it comes to rivalry games. this week Orangefield made some changes to the OL & it seems to click better. Orangefield will have to contain your QB, I think #9 is capable for a while.

I hope the BC Graduate learns how to spell Bobcats on the scoreboard & your school pays the electric bill to be able to turn the AC on in the visitors field house.

BC has superior athletes so why even play.

Against Buna ….. make a relatively smart comparison, your better than that. last years coach lost to woodville twice by much more embarrassing scores. this Jr heavy team fight all game long with game changing turnovers that killed the run. self inflicted mistakes lost the game, not the offense. that worn out Wing T wouldn’t have made a difference.

Where we at the same game. the only scoring LCM had where against second team defense that had mostly Freshman & sophomore on defense that where playing to make the cut. Even at the end, the referees waved off a Pass interference when it was clearly one. The next play the same cornerback was ejected from the game for punching. Then a 40 years pass then TD. I would say that would cause some celebration for Orangefield players & coaching staff.
