  1. A). No one on here has made any arguments about Fans wanting him to leave. Every year ever school have some people wanting their AD to leave. Orangefield isn’t any different. I would say more than 75% still believe in what he’s doing. Everytime BC changes AD this rumor comes up & BC changes AD about every other year depending on which parent has the influence to put their kid as a certain position or if the AD has a snow cone business. Who in their right minds would want to go to BC especially if you have to wear red. (Joke). Bigger OL comment. Have you looked at Franklins/Belleville/LH offensive line stat? I saw multiple kids on there over 6-1 plus. Who in their right mind don’t think you need size period. 🙄 C). 1 Dimensional Offense Comment. If you think a 1 dimensional offense is the way to go then I’m not wasting data debating you. LH was completely demoralized & demolished by PNG last year. Sure they scored on the first few plays in the game but when PNG adjusted LH couldn’t get a first down after that. I heard a stat that LH had 8 passing attempts the entire year. They then threw the ball down by 28 in the fourth. Guess what. INT! I think they had 2 INT with 3 attempts. Your right, I’m pretty sure Franklin OL averages 5’-6” 150 lbs I was watching the WOS/Beeville game. Beeville has some pretty big kids on the OL #99 was murdering kids straight up my point is you need to be able to throw the ball when the run isn’t working. Not preparing for that is my issue. How in the heck do you blow teams out of the water during the season by 30+ points & you never ever practice during the game for game type situation in Passing. That’s absolutely inexcusable. im definitely not advocating for Orangefield to run 5 wide the entire time. What I am asking about is when Orangefield (LH/Franklin) was up on Buna (an opponent) why not throw the Dang Ball????? So that the kids can have some game time experience throwing and catching in a GAME. Everyone looks like Randy Moss & Joe Montana vs the scout team. if you believe sticking with what works only & not having a viable option for when it doesn’t work then I agree to disagree. if you don’t think that’s a sensible offensive scheme then your right & every college & pro team is wrong. Dallas & the Chief needs someone like you on their coaching staff. This is a good Good Time to say Good Grief! over and out.
  2. In 2,000% agree. how was that 1 dimensional offense last night working for them. even though OF Is the bigger school in the district they don’t have the size on the OL to continue this Slot T mafia Offense. when they do pass the OL is still in the 4 point stance…. Zero pass blocking abilities for the OL. They are beaten off the snap of the ball. we shall see what happens with all these rumors.
  3. Good luck to EC. I hope they win, Westwood is strong from my understanding
  4. Based on the last 10 years, 1 dimensional offense have zero success in football. You may win enough games to place top 4 in district but not in playoffs. I won’t support one & done. Orangefield needs more than that.
  5. Would hate to see him leave, He's been a good role model to my kids. He does practice his convictions on the sidelines. What exceptions are you talking about? To be top 4 in a 6 team district. Peevey - Not leaving LCM/ He's got a stable base of athletes coming in and up. Prouse would be a DEFINITELY NO in my book.
  6. Well. We’ll shall see if Orangefield can pull this off. what do OF have to loose they should try something different.
  7. We definitely don’t need to see #5 again also. 😂
  8. Did this thread turn into a Yelp review for K-Dans? this game is for chance to NOT play Franklin! Who ever has less turnovers will win.
  9. 🫶 That’s fantastic for Orangefield. I was worried with the sophomore class.
  10. Depends on the first drive. If Orangefield can start firing on all cylinders then OF will win. i don’t know if OF can overcome a lead from KV. We shall see. Its a HS game for no telling what will happen or what team (either side) will show up.
  11. It’s the head to head games between the 3 teams and not total district games?? so Kirbyville has 6 points EC has 36 points Orangefield has O so Orangefield can’t give up 6 points in two game & must win one of the two if they lose to KV then they have to lose by less than 6?????
  12. If the Bobcats can't start firing on all cylinders on the first possession, then they will have a hard time beating KV and EC... Bobcats did have an impressive 70+ yard drive in about 1.5 mins at the end of half under lots of pressure to score.
  13. Where are all them Anti-“Old AD” now. this is on “Them”! Hope they are happy Now. Anyway. Whatever I don’t even know I’m on this thread.
  14. I’m guessing AP got #5 involved the entire game? No charge for the advice. lol
  15. Never in MY life did I EVER think any thread on this forum would be debating whether WOS would be 3rd or 4th in district much less a possibility of WOS not even making the playoff. How in the world is the School board (which has former WOS Athletic alumni) letting this happen. I’m sad & disappointed.
  16. You’re absolutely right. Game Officials are getting worse & worse each game & even through the seasons. im sure all the good ones are leaving because they are tired of the abuse they are getting from little league to HS. there’s a lot to say but ultimately I blame these terrible calls to inexperienced referees. Hold tight because it’s only about to get worst. No one wants to throw a flag to get yelled & screamed at from the sidelines & stands. This area is finally feeling the results of the national referee shortage. Good win Bobcats the combination of #2 & #3 speed & #22 bulldozing was too much to handle. still no threat from the air though.
  17. They called 98% run plays so it obviously worked.
  18. I would hope that they get #5 involved in the WHOLE game. If that’s the case, I would say AP will be hard to stop. Any pass to him inside the 20 is an automatic TD. That would open it up for #24 RB & QB to run more.
  19. It was a sloppy game all around on both sides. I don’t understand why #5 didn’t get the ball much. Each time he got it it was dangerous for the Bobcats. One TD he literally carried 3 Bobcats into the endzone & broke about 3 tackles. i have to agree that the line Judge on Orangefield side called 2 terrible “Targeting” penalties on each team. No way was those two targeting. It was helmet to helmet but both weren’t with the Crown of the helmet. But they may have changed the rules. There were lots of mouthing on both sides. good win & I’ll be interested in seeing AP and O play Kirbyville. It could be a 3 way tie.
  20. Legacy is a legit team with plenty of targets and kids that can make a play. The OL has plenty of size. Long night for the Bear.
  21. What he said. If your talking about being disrespectful cause of scoring too many points then what’s the difference between beating a team by 40 if you scored more running TD vs Passing TD. By your thoughts if you are ahead you should knee the ball as to not offend the other team.
  22. I agree with the assessment, i think the lumps Orangefield took at the beginning of the season paid off. The OL did improve and won the battle against an equally sized opponent. However, as you stated, "As in this game if you don’t have to throw the ball why throw it", i believe this was the perfect opportunity wasted by not throwing the ball in the first half. It's been my problem with this mindset since i've been here. You should practice the Passing game when you are up in the game, not when you are down by 21 points with 5 minutes left in the game. This just Orangefield, I saw the Liberty Hill game vs PNG. LH had 9 passing attempts the entire year (I almost fell out when I heard that) and they didn't start passing until the last 5 mins of the game and had 2 Picks in the first 3 passes. Shame on them for not throwing the ball during the season to get that game time experience.
  23. That’s was unexpected. EC losing like that.
  24. Ya we’ll play them. Maybe WOS can finally win a game.
  25. Although I’m not a huge fan of the Slot T, Orangefield does run a lot of Power I, Iso. I wouldn’t say terrible. Considering the fact the Bobcats have a brand new OL (no returners) with little to no experience, a new QB, two main running backs that didn’t run the ball much if any last year I would say that they are getting experience. i hope that the team got enough experience to win 4 of the 6 games left. 19-7 loss vs a good Woodville team is improvement. take away a few turnovers & it’s a whole different ball game. we shall see.
